No offense - only my opinion which counts for fokol anyway.
Over here the Veilside thing has been played to death and I have this urge to run them off the road.

Here's a joker thinking he's going to get more than $2000 for his GT4 "special"
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=392155953
Follow the auction and see what I mean, car has low km's too

The color on that is also orange but my orange i am going to use is from a Ford focus st with
red Pearl in it.I am not planning on selling it anyway so price don't matter for me just for show and shine that's the way I like my cars to look like sporty not over done and that if that guy is a joker then I won't know what am I no offence from my side in anyway what so ever you got to meet me to know me I can handle any joke I am known as Mr nice guy.Your opinion's don't always count for fokol I have seen lot's of good opinions coming from your posts all over.Ons is nog vriende my broe ek is a porra in South afrika.

lol, kwaai boet - geen moffies!

I meant he's dreaming (joking) for that price, if it were a mint stocker it would be worth $4500+
and people would be bidding on it.
My car gets major stares stock, I'd like to spray it and neaten it up tho and the motor & box could
do with some new & better parts.

I once fitted a Zakspeed kit to a GTV and it looked good, it would suit the gen4 too but
I got tired of cracks and gel coat peeling.

If they are making noise and not moving I suspect the gears inside

If just dead, you'll have to see if there's any voltages coming in, the switch can fail and
the control unit is in the passenger door.

I checked my spare distributor, it's from a GTE & the cap faces backward, the leads are shorter as well.

What's the chances of finding a V6 Camry box and shafts over there?

The 3L manual Camry box is the one to have but you need the shafts too.
Check Mafix's thread for more info on this

The 2.2L box/shafts is identical to yours but has "lazy" gearing, I'm looking for a 5th gear set from
    one as my/your 5th gear is supa short 3200rpm = 100km/h in 5th

The 92 Camry is a good source for your parts there (only parts) brakes, suspension, drivetrain,
    hoses, f/pump, o/pump etc, etc
Use the 3L front brakes & m/cyl and give yourself a cheap upgrade, those okes are mal!'
I pay $250 for Celica boxes here :sad5

Wow, gen 4 (auto), 5 (GT4, new motor), 6 and a 7 (Durbs) for sale. There's more around than I thought,
pity I never saw any there.
Was the gen 7 sold there? Says it's a 2007 but here they stopped in 2004.

I think those prices are cheap compared to new prices, a new M3 or WRX is R500 000?
    I was thinking of exporting some 300ZX's, FTO's, Integra's, Celica's, RX7's, RB32's, CRX's, GTO's etc, etc
but the prices will be a lot higher after shipping, import tax etc.

Got any Golf R32's or station wagons there yet?

  12. fernandocelica

    fernandocelica Well-Known Member Donated!

Yes there are lot's of Golf R32's around even I was amazed with the amount of celica's around here all those cars you mention we have here as well the Holden is known as chev lumina even get the chev bakkie's v8 5.lt

I can normally read Dutch but there are words which are more German.
Got any Evos, GTO's or FTO's there yet?
    Who's selling the RB26's and RB32's - Fakouk Dangor?

I'm glad theres a few Celi's there, they will never be common and only appreciate in value.
I did meet a guy there once who imported an MR2 SW20 and he said most people there assumed it was a Ferrari

I left in 2004, I was known as "Mr Magoo" at Dunswart, Speedspot, Midvaal etc where I ran 13B Capella's during the 90's

Glad to see they are waking up to cars, I see a whole lot of new brands listed there.

MR2 uses the gen2 motor, a lot is similar but it is MAP, not MAF controlled.
I'm using a gen2 block etc in my car, on the bench is a gen1 turbo block I'll be adding
gen2 crank, flywheel, Honda rods & pistons (longer rods, flatter lighter pistons), turbo pump, a gen2 or 3 head etc.
Aim is build a 200-250hp N/A motor which is streetable and take more weight out of the car
