I know of one tail light set but the guy is reluctant till he gets his smoked lenses thru roadworthy. Skirts - Not many options 1)I have a set of TRD, they're stuck in Melbourne atm (the only set!) 2,3,4)Kanimari, Aeroform and SSV are the only other options atm (USA, OZ) 5)I chucked the rusted strips and fitted larger s/steel from a GT4, they are the same on the USDM GT-S but you need the front mudflaps as well

Xept it's JDM I've sent them to the US before, theyr'e not heavy just bulky Do you still have the orange side inserts?

Sorry things didn't work out in OZ, I'm happy but making friends here has been impossible There's no "kuier" here so in a way the guys on this site have been my friends the last few years. The're a good bunch and I someday hope to get to UK, France, Fijii, USA, Canada, OZ to meet up with them. I can tell you that a qual mech or panelbeater or painter will have no problem getting a job and residency here. Unfortunately I was too busy trying to kill myself to do a trade and now I'm too old to do an apprentiship, so Im kinda in limbo at the moment. Looks like we'll need a Africa section on here now? kuier = friends who hang around - not just for free booze, parts or labour! Fernando, check around the boot for rust, esp the lid seal. The top of the lid near the water sprayer Under the windscreen trims and the lower wiper cover If you spray the rear windows with water you'll find the butyl seals have gone soft and migrarted downward- not good for Vaal thunderstorms. Im finding heaps of rust inside the roof, behind the dash and under the roof gutters to the point where there are holes into the roof. Dash The upper windscreen is a trap for water (right in front of the mirror) Under the front mudflaps, gunk from the screen & airbox collects here I know that the highveld is probably the best place for this car, these are the main problem areas here and as the car spent a few years in Japan I'd be looking there too. Are you respraying it or just touching up?
Thanks stig I have done the complete stripping on it and only found some around the w/sreen area which will be easy to remove other wise the car is a good condition except for the rear end which as been repaired by our backyard P/beaters you know what I am talking about.Yes I am going to do a full respray and changing color doing the seats up as well front spoiler,rear spoiler add on,bonnet scoop and side skirts the rest will keep it stock.Just to make it nice but still will be stock. One question for you stig what are the real specs for this car? Some say 112hp others 140hp never know what is the right specs for this car? thanks.
Is the interior black/blue? What colour? Black looks best, blends in with the spoiler, door handles, trims etc I have one good blue/blue seat cover set & headrest spare Spec is 165HP for the JDM GELU motor, the EGR equipped OZ, EU, US (GE/GEL) motors are less powerful and have "dodo" ECU's. Also our JDM seems to have shorter gearing than the rest, diff is 4.2 and 5th gear is 0.8, I've been trying to locate a 0.7 5th but no joy sofar. Spec is equal to the Superboss, I think the CA20 is a direct copy of the 3S-GE? Later versions make 180HP and 200HP, so it's pretty easy to get up there without breaking the bank VVT motors make even more but there's issues using those cams/heads/manifolds The 3S-GTE turbo is rated at 185HP but it carries a 200kg+ weight penalty and lacks torque lower down. I was hoping to get a realistic comparison at the local track the other day but the GT4 ran bearings in the pits so better luck next time. Still got nite racing at Gosforth?
Thanks stig for the info all sounds very good and powerful I still did not have a change to drive this car around yet just test drove it around the block.The race track as closed for maybe 3 years now.They now have opened a new one which is called THE Rock in Brakpan we can go there and race your and take on anyone you like which we do with friends the old fashion way robot to robot,the track is for drifting which the pro's do.my seats on the car black and blue with black dashboard.so now I can saw I got a 165hp car thanks boet.

No prob swaar! Let me know, always willing to help and appreciate any info from a pro panelbeater. Over there in the Alfa Club guys were getting their chassis galvanised at huge expense and moeite. The rust problem is slowly killing these cars off, it seems worse in UK, Canada etc but quite a few gone here due to the 6 monthly RWC being so strict. The rule is a fail on structural rust but these kiwi types will fail it on ANY rust on a fender, window surround etc. I'll be scrounging the yards in the next couple of days, looks like we are running out of ST162's here and a plain one went for $1700 yesterday, which is double the "going rate" Put a wanted ad in the wanted section, I know there's guys here who have spare lights but I can't remember who
