Looks similar to this 185 front, where's it from?

Never seen gas bonnet struts on a 16x?, I would like to see some lambo doors tho
These doors are just too big for tiny NZ parking spaces, the stays have no chance against NZ wind either
    [IMG]

The later model I think is well suited for aggresive looking kits, might just buy one and do this,
but the motor (Corolla) is crap - sheep in wolf's clothing!

I was always thinking on the bonnet strut mod, so I'm very courious of what you'll end up :) It may make closing the bonnet difficult though.

I heard that these aftermarket lambo doors are very sensitive, and you won't have as much space to get in/out as you would expect. A T23 owner here installed them this year on his car, but I didn't meet him yet.

For the guy's that want to try this out it's the Bonnet shocks been fitted and spec's on how to do it and hope it's clear if any question's asked I will try and answer them. Spec's[IMG] Bonnet when open[IMG]Bonnet when closed[IMG].
Shocks are 40cm long when open,Thickness are 50cm but 40 would work better after I struggled.Hope you's like it I like it work's perfect better than stay rod.

Happy Birthday buddy, I see you you got your present already. :cool

The reverse bonnet won't work too well, it's narrow between the lights and a pain
when you need to work in the bay
I prefer the hinges at the front as the bonnet can't fly open at speed but you do have to remove it often
