At the mo on the jdm you should have 2 brake lights and 2 tail lights on each side .

You would loose 1 brake and 1 tail each side leaving you 1 of each on each side instead of 2 .

The inner lights would then become the fog lights . The same as on the uk cars . No you don't need to change the bulbs all you need to do yours as they stand is 4 male and 4 female spade connectors .

And a small ruber gromet to go in the hole where the 1 is stuck under the bumper

    Huh?
    So i lose 4 lights (brake+tail each side) , but gain 2fogs?
    Er...i mite b old...but i can still count LOL

i would prefet to fill-in hole proper thn use a grommet.
Being underneath the car i rather gaurantee no water seaps in thn let a little in via a grommet :)

Or you can put a diode in on each side so you only loose the 1 brake light on each side and keep the tail lights .
    I have a pack of 10 diodes hear .
As for the gromet mate you just put sealer around the hole and push the gromet in you wont get any water in mate . No different to all the other gromets in and under the car wayne . I f you opt for the second option with the diodes then it would have to be done somewhere with electric because they have to be soldered in.

Did you say you can count wayne ? If so how many seconds in a year ?

Some put 2 diodes in so you dont loose any of the lights but gain 2 fogs . the problem with that is it's toutch and go with the mot
because the mot regs state that the fog light must not be more than 100mm close to the brake light

I think we are more active on CCUK because we are more recent members, u had a project (now 2) and I'm just a SAD person with not much to do :)

Seconds in a year - depends.....leap year? each year varies by 1/2 second....or we talking abt a trick question "How many second days in a year?"

Anyway, more important question is "When do we see a pic of your whole family with your 2 projects?"
U seen mine already - well sort of :)

    HOLD PRESS!!!
Aren't we deviating a bit from my main thread? ha ha ha.
Steve: There was some accusations on here that u have recently become a father again? CONGRATS! U aint trying to beat with Shaun's record are u? ;)

My head is all over the place after reading your posts  number of bulbs.......Shaun's number of kids, looking at the photo I'm even more confused ...

Shaun, just shut Wayne up and do the swap for him, the questions are doing my head in

As for hopping about on forums.......I have a life you know.....unlike others I won't mention :lol

Yes that's right Wayne, my little baby daughter was born pre-mature, but everything is fine now. She's nearly 2 months old, but its only now she's looking like a new born.

Shaun - all your kids are good looking and well-behaved (bar the young lady on the right who seems to want to be somewhereelse;)).
Are u sure u haven't got SEVEN kids - I know the baby isn't in the pic - but right on the righthandside, there's an other kid wondering about :smilielol5

Steve - u must have been thru hell and back with all those complications before and after the pre-mature birth - hope both yourself and your missus and the baby are all fine now
    How many kids Steve?

Ha ha ha - I believe u have met the REAL Wayne now - the MOANER :naughty
God help u guys when we meet in August :smilielol5
And If either of u get a visit from Wayne - run! Just make excuses that u have emigrated or something :D

I'm afraid I think now a perfectionist (hence all the questions and hesitation) - but like my DIY - it all ends up a mess :crazy

Guys - names and ages of the kids?
Waynes: Devon (9:turtledance); Jonas (6 :auto)

Just the 2 girls that I know off Wayne  Charlotte is 6 and Chloe 2 months. Don't think there'll be anymore as my wife is 40 now. It was difficult times in the early days. Her jaundice level went very high at one stage and had to go back in the incubator for phototherapy. If that didn't work, she'd need a blood transfusion :shock Fortunately she fought it off. I stayed in the hospital overnight.

I am the same Jackie ;) When I had a new windscreen put in the Celica, the surrounding trims were left gaps of 2mm. I took it back and they gave me a :scratch look. In the end they had to wedge a piece of plastic in to hold it down after they'd put some more of the black sticky stuff in.
Definitely for the Celica, things had to be spot on although I'm a little bit carefree these days. In the past, ( no mortgage,no family ), I'd probably have spent £400 to have a Toyota radiator, but as you've read, I spent £90 on one that still does a perfect job.

Also in the early years, I bought a brand new window screen scuttle panel for £150, new tailgate lifts for £160, sill trims for £150. No expenses spared in those days :)
