Well I think its time for this....I have gotten some requests to show some pics of my 3sge electronics to a 2s-e...so here they are(I will post better pics soon) and yes I know that its a mess and there is a truck bettery in. what looks to be a dizzy in the center of the head isn't its a plug the actual dizzy is the one n the side being driven by the end of the cam, its there because a mounting a ge dizzy in the orignal location wont work(it spins the opposite way) and the igniter is on the valve cover because it wont fit where it should go because where the egr crap is on a 2s.

 

Huge progress today, Dark Storm finally cranked and fired on the normal injectors but then it stalled anyone know why it would stall right after?

 

yep Im pretty sure its afm now because last time i had to attach extra ground wires to get it running, so im going to try that again. I also just check my intake tube and there is no cracks.

 

Dark Storm is now running :driving But there is a hesitation/sputtering from 2-3000rpm. Could this be because there is no t-vis?

 

nope im saying that because the t-vis wires from the ecu dont go anywhere. Fixed the hesitation from 2-3000rpm. now onto the idle it goes from 700-1000 when its warm, do i just turn the adjusting screw to make go up to 1200?

 

It has a really lumpy idle at 700, so much so that it stalls sometimes and its much better at 1200.

 

It seems like dark storm, does not like starting/running in -30. I had to have my foot to the floor and be cranking for alot longer then usual, and once it does start its runs horribly. It seems that the colder it gets the worse it runs and finally there are no warning lights on at all(yay). anybody else have this problem when its cold outside?

 

I drove the celica last night and there are some running problems mostly it has no power, Its impossible to get it moving without riding the clutch abit and once you are if you take your foot of the clutch it stalls, Im wondering because its seems to be always flooded and im running a 3sge ecu/ main electrical that it running too way too rich would cause it, is there a way to get it running more lean? I also need a new pcv valve but it wouldnt cause that sudden drop in power. But ecerything else is running great

 

So much progress has been made, just a few stuff here and there and a new muffler and she should be on a road, next step bodywork, I need a new LF fender and pop out some dents

 

Well it looks like I have to realign my hood, Does anyone have pictures of how the hood should fit, This is what mine is looking right now

 

ya my fender got backed into by a truck, it dosent contact the hood though, The craddle wasent damaged just the fender, corner light and the headlight surrond.

 

UPDATE: it turns out my 2-1 pipe is cracked, so im going to be looking for a new one or trying to weld it up, Im going to be needing a new 3sge dizzy cap(mine is cracked), I got a new jvc head in, I will be posting pics when i take them.
