86 celica gts coupe

well now my tailights are burnt out but only my taillights. and i cant seem to find the module (coupe)i hear theres a way to unplug it but iv only seen it done on a mk III supra

Has anyone else used a 3sge wiring harness, sensors and ecu on a 2s-e? I used a 3sge distrubutor and located it on the side of the head with a 2s-e distubutor plug to cover up the hole where the distrubtor used to be. for the afm i used a 3sge afm, inlet pipe, air box and a adapter on the 2s throttle body to fit the 3sge inlet pipe. I mounted the 3sge tps on top of the 2s one with a bit of fabrication, from there on its just plug and play.

 

my celica "Dark Storm" hasent been doing that well latly i started her up and week ago and run good until the engine got warmed and at that point it started to run worse and worse until it died. Now im getting tps, ecu and ignition codes...specifivally codes 41, 14, 13 and 11.

 

horrible day today...i donated my parts car and i got the wrong celica towed away i hope i get it back....

 

thankfully its all striaghtend out now I now have my good car back and everything was as i left it and now my parts car is gone so in the end it all worked out.

 

ok so now that its sorted it...my plan is too make my 2s relaible (get a working afm, set the idle to 1300 etc.) before winter and put an exhaust on her (right now im rocking open header)then during winter im going to experiment with edm and jdm ecu's. Hopefully i will be able to find a first gen. 3s-ge before spring so that once spring arrives i can swap it in

 

ya sure is....ill put some pics on soon of what iv been up to lately, il try to post a video of it on a open header...i will say she dose sound quite beastly but is getting a bit cold to be driving with the windows open.

what do you think? plans for the exterior include fixing the dents, jdm corner lights, h4's with hids, slight nightshading for the taillights and retinting the windows(there purple , bubbling and peeling) and the best part i finally have a name for her...Dark Storm

 

when i donated the parts car i got alot of spare parts from it as you can see...the remaining parts are in my parts room

 

ya i love the aeroform kit....do you mean this engine?

time to rebuild the 3sge

 

i plan to rebuild my blown 3sge over winter i forsure need a new cyl. head, coolant lines, pistons, rods and a good t-vis assembly(mine is cracked).
