I found a crack in my 2-1 pipe, nothing that some welding cant fix though and I got a 60mm muffler as well I also got a new distributor cap(the old one was cracked) now its running much better aprt from the idle hunting from 700-1000rpm but thats the crack in the egr flange on the intake side so Im going to delete the egr.
finished my egr delete, found my missing ground finished up my distributor, readjusted my afm back to stock and got a hold of a ct-26 but it need a new turbine, but the intercooler, manifold is in great shape, I do still need the twin entry housing for the turbo, a wastegate and bov< this will be going on when i rebuild the 3s-g(t)e.
I have decided to put a drop in filter and de-resonate it once i have the fender off........let the fun begin, Im also going to upgrade the front brakes sometime soon, new oem rotors and hawk hps brake or ebc yellowstuff pads.
well i took the celica for a drive today, only it didnt end to well, i lost oil pressure and my bottom coolant hose burst, im looking into rebuilding my 3sge from the ground up or looking for a new motor.
I got my motor out!!!!!!!!!!!! now I have to seperate the engine from the transaxel and get the clutch and presssure plate, and then its time to put a 3sge in there!!!
I may be getting a gen 2 3sge, the shop that im getting it from has one sitting in a celica with everything unhooked apart from the mounts in his backyard.
rplaced my pass. side steering rack boot and its looking like I'm getting a gen 2 3sgte and converting to n/a.
