Welcome! Get a photobucket or a image shack and re-link the photos for us we want to check her out :twisted
heres a album of my car from my facebook http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.177536978963733.52554.100001222953557&l=99c106b01e
Your car really is grabbing my attention. I usually don't prefer the coupe, but yours is real nice. Especially the rear end. Almost has that authentic AW11-ish look and feel.
i thought it was this body was factory. on the drivers side fender there is a dent where one of my friends backed into with his truck right now im looking for a new one as its beyond repair and 187flatliner im located near winnipeg, manitoba. right now my plans aare too get it running then nightshade the corner lights lower it about 1'' and get a short throw shifter.
Bodykit is by Aeroform, all kits listed here - http://st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=6934&p=90309#p90309
You're swapping a 2se motor in place of the 3sge? Also a short shifter from a st165 will fit in the 162.
ya but only temporarly as the 3s-ge has broken valve stems, crushed valves, a hole in the #1 piston, blown connecting rods, blown crank and a blown oil pump if the engine is rebuildable i will rebuild it and if its not il save up for a jdm second or third gen 3s-ge. i only need to disconnect the header and injector clips to get the engine out of the parts car.
i hope the gt motor isnt goin in! thats a big down-grade. going from sport to economy. the power sucks! lol i know personally. and if its the 2se, you'll get nothing but great gas mileage! :hehe rebuild the ge or save for the gte. thats what i would do.
I know you just want to keep going but the motor is too different imo You'd have to swap Radiators, loom, exhaust, MAF etc. Maybe less hassle to get the parts car running?
i have to get the good car running though and im pretty sure it will cost less to buy a new 3s-ge then to rebuild the one thats currently in. the quote i got for the cylinder head was $750.00 and i dont have alot of money at this time
