please tell me this was a troll comment. They are talking about valve buckets not seats, engine internals.

On another note has anyone ordered a motor from toysport?
It says that gen 2 3s-ge are $750+shipping which is probably better then what i can rebuild mine for.

good news....i have found some TEMS parts if anyone needs...another note im taking my gt muffler since it dosent have any holes in it and welding on a 3.5"' dump tip on.

Are they really? I just saw them at the T.O.R.C Fest? back in June

Can't see the GE head working with the 2S pistons? Too many valves and not enough pockets

That head looks like 1986 JDM?

Gen2 sounds like a good deal, remember it's MAP not MAF controlled.

Got any info on the TEMS stuff? must be Supra, Cressida, Soarer as I doubt
any ST162 or ST182 TEMS sold there?

The tems parts are from a mk.3 supra turbo. The reason why i thought the ge head could work on a 2s is that the pistons are dished like the 3sfe but its a smaller dish. So your saying that im going to have to get a gen 2 wiring harness and ecu.

Yes, or convert it to MAF

2S is 8v, 3S is 16v - you'd need some 85mm Evo pistons (or similar) to make it work
I have thought of doing a 1800cc motor with 4S block, gen2 GE crank & flywheel, longer rods and Honda/Mitsi pistons
    under the 3S GE head

yes i have been thinking of doing a beams head swap on the first gen 3sge block but since the vvti oil port is not present in a first gen block...do i need the beams wiring harness or could i modify the first gen harness for the beams injectors, map etc.

There is no way you can operate a thing like that with your factory harness and ECU. There is too much difference: maf sensor wiring (only blacktop has map), cam angle sensor, VVTi solenoid and COPs which are controlled directly by the ECU depending on data from all the sensors.

Easier to do a complete engine swap with ECU and harness.

i heard that you can use a 1zz-fe ecu with a piggyback and wiring loom though. The reason why i asked about is that using a first gen block eliminates the vvti.

I see. But if you don't want to use VVTi what's the point of getting a 4.gen head instead of a 3.gen head?
Actually, without the VVTi the BEAMS is weaker than a 3.gen 3SGE, because it cannot set the timing ideally.

i thought the cams were waaay better ......but 3rd gen head sounds like a better idea. Has anyone ever had a bad power mirror switch? mine cant adjust the mirrors left or right anymore.
