Cars looking sweet there fella.............. I'm loving that road for cruising and no traffic and what is that phone your using ?, it takes shit hot pictures. How's the hydraulics for the roof going ?
Thks mate! Only using the Samsung Galaxy S2 to take pic of the garage since have no internet at home at the mo :-( Hydraulic still working as sweet as it ought to
Interesting as both phones have an 8mp camera and after more research now I know why, the S3 has a higher 'main screen resolution' than the S2 although both should look the same when downloading pics onto a computer ?............... My hand-held digital camera is only 6mp. I want an S3, to have that much punch in your pocket appeals to me.
Remember its NOT the number of PIXELS that improves the quality - its the LENS!!! Hence, why some higher end digital cameras have LOWER pixels than cheaper end cameras!!! But for mobile - maybe higher pixels are better? Debateable really.... Any Photographers on here to confirm?
You are correct, sorry as I should have posted this link earlier as it's a perfectly explains what we're talking about....... http://www.cnet.com/8301-17918_1-57...more-isnt-always-better-smartphones-unlocked/
same reason why my point and shoot cam is 14mp but my dslr is "only" 12mp. but we all know which camera takes better pictures. point and shoots have a lens the size of a pushpin, while dslr lenses are bigger than coffee mugs
digressing off my RED... ...is it worth getting a bridge camera like Canon SX40 for £240? or a DSLR Canon for £360 as a beginner camera into DSLRs but not want to spend anymore on accessories like lens? The Canon PowerShots are good at abt £200 weighing 300g? which is much much less thn the 680g bridge camera?
I use a Nikon D3100 with standard 18-55 lens which is more than adequate for me. i would like a zoom lens for trackdays and so, but for normal picture shooting the 18-55 is enough. It's very reasonable priced.
only £270 from uk for d3100 dslr!!! i always thought both nikon + canon wer best brands for professional cameras. but whn it comes to digutal slr....which one on average better day AND night shots?
i have the canon t3 and i've found that the standard 18-55 lens is good enough. i think they (d3100 and t3) produce equally good shots at night. it all just depends how much more shutter speed you want to use. and of course you're going to need to have a solid hand/stand with longer shutter speed. as for the sx40...i find these to be quirky. yes they're better than your regular slim cameras, but for the price/size difference, might as well go dslr. the sx40 DOES have cool little effects that dslrs don't have...it just depends on what you want
ok.....the nikon includes lens. but the canon one dosent? if not how much for 18-55lens? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-CANON...Cameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item4ab40f3a37
Cheers guys! I ll do more research on this! PS: Is there a thread or topic area for PHOTOGRAPHERS on here (apart from Vids+Pics thread)?
