i dont know if its knocking cause i dont have a knock box, ive already upped my fuel pressure as it is i dont wanna go higher, im going on the bassis here that befor it all work correctly and now it does not. the car went fine for about 6 months with no knock issuse now its lead to this which is shit
, and i really wanna play with the afm because its the only one i got and i shouldnt have to play with that really

-I did....its easy. as long as you have a way to moniter it.....afr gauge. Im not sure where the fear of the afm came from. just dont get any crap in it and mark were you start. If you change the afm setting your tricking it into giving you a longer injector duration. I think if you just keep upping the pressure eventually your just getting a stream of fuel rather than a "mist".......I dunno, Im far from pro, just trying to give you some ideas.

the only time i have ever seen the need to change the AFM tension for fuel is a car that has had a turbo put on and its still running a NA ecu, and to be honest the turbo ecu is designed to do everythings itself, but thats the point of a rising rate fuel reg so you can adjust fuel that way. the problem is between the knock sensor and the computer. i just have to find it.

ok wow its been a while since ive been on. not alot has happend, since i cot a massive lack of motivation towards the car so it has just sat there doing nothing, untill the other weekend i went to a state race meeting and got all motivated, got myself a set of 25mm spacers on the back of the car so my new 17's will fit on the stock suspension, ive managed to pick up a good race seat for nothing, and as of a couple of moments ago i just purchased a pair of new front disc and some green stuff brake pads to go with them

on a side note no much else has happened, will be getting into it more as summer comes into action

    Cheers Sean

I know how you feel with lack of motivation... its a bummer, but stick in there bud and just remember the final result!

ok so this is how it sits with 17's with coilovers in the front no spacers and standard springs and struts in the rear with 30mm of spacer to bring it out more. im actually starting to like the 17's the more i see them

ok so ive powering away all night since i got the young one to bed and ive worked it all out
    [IMG]

yes i know that might look a bit weird and my style of wiring is weird but andy (guy who builds adaptronic) matched me a pinout sheet from my old loom to new adaptronic loom, and i was trying to figure out how i could connect the two, because i dont wanna site in the side of the car soldering, so i took and old plug off and ecu solder all my wires to that so i could patch the pinouts

this is the finished product. ok so its not very neat. but it will work. and the ones on the side are extra's that willbe used for other things like launch controll or flat shifting, all that sort of wizz bang shit

thats a hard night put in for me, now all i have to do is wire in new air temp senspr somewere and im done, i probably wont be able to get to any of that for a fews days yet and i still have to put in the Wideband sensor and guage. but once thats done i can phisicaly start the car

    WOO!!!!!!!

ok good new peeps. everything is wired into the car. temp sensor, ecu and widband sensor and guage, finaly got the bas map of an mr2 onto the ecu, got to crank it over, will crank and try to fire but just wont start yet. so im really happy now, and i just need a bigger cheap laptop to use, im only using a small 10" laptop witch is shit. but on a good note im getting somewhere

been playing around with the car and trying a few different settings just idling and free reving, just to make things a bit better. playing with map prediction because t has a hesitation when pressing the throttle. im having a problem with the fuel pump atm its just not running with the new computer but i think ive put it down to my wiring. and my thermos are coming strait on with ignition atm so i thing ive missed something there. but im possitive they run off a sensor in the water that tells them to come on at a certain time. i think its broken. but for now im getting somwhere

You got to be kidding me, there's my old car again !!! It just won't die on the net :). I didn't put those on though, I totalled the car (yellow paint then) and the guy that bought it from me rebuilt it to this but it looks like shit nowadays, both inside and outside, crappy tranny I heard so...too bad :(.

Oh really we'll there you go. Did you like it with the boltons? I was actually looking at doing it about 9 months ago. My friend had some to put on his Nissan which he didn't use in the end. So he gave them to me. And then browsing through google images I found it
