Fun is that I've got mine from my boss, who bought it for his MRS, but wouldn't use it, because he says it's to tall there.
Look what I've found on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.de/Toyota-Celica-2-0-T1 ... 33695e3de5 Same bodykit, same color as mine, but it's post-facelift. The seller is not so informative, didn't say much about the car.
Looks good, do I hear a 2nd celi pulling into your driveway? :fingersx Congrats on 2nd place by the way :cheers
I already have one and a half cars for spares It couldn't be put in traffic in my country sadly, due to the insanely high taxes, but I mentioned it on our forum, maybe someone - or more - will be interested and we buy it for spares. But yea, it would be quite a shame for that car, so I hope it will find a caring new owner in Germany
Some weeks ago I did another "renew" with plastidip. My center console looked quite crappy, especially without all the accessories: I only realized when I took it out, that it has some bigger damages that would need some bondo or other filler material to fix completely, so it's not a perfect job. After some furbish and masking it out: And the result: Looks much better still. I also sprayed the cigarette lighter, not that I use it, but it looks better too, as the white inner painting was gappy. The close shot also gives you an idea of how plasti dip surface looks like, and why I don't recommend it using on rims or painted parts:
Haha, I already got warned that it can cause an addiction, and people just keep buying and buying it and everything gets covered in it :mrgreen Looks like it's true. I already have several other parts to-spray in mind
I got the left side door handle from David today. Very fast shipping, it took only a week to cross the ocean and land at my door. Guys at customs were faster this time. Mint condition, bolts are perfect, no damage at all, only OEM dirt as promised And that's why I have to replace mine, it looks okay by default: But if I don't open it very carefully, the whole thing just comes out a bit, as the handler is not holding the bolts right: Thanks David
I am glad for you I wonder how much longer do have to wait from this side of the world still waiting for my taillight I hope the plane didn't crash or got lost lol
We came home late sunday from a short 3 day holiday, and when I was checking the car for oil and water level on monday, I smelled something awful in the engine bay. After a short search, I've found the reason: my Celi ate a bird some time ago. The poor little fellow Good thing that it didn't cause any damage.
