Boredom set in the other day so what else do you do when your bored, polish the fuel rail and clean up the injectors. Ok so I havent done a great job but to be fair you cant see most of it when its on anyway, thats my logic

Nice, wish I got spare time at work

Can you tell me what size thread the fuel pressure regulator is? I bought a Sard FPR but need to find an adapter.

Look out for 560cc injectors from dead Evo's and a set of 3S-GE cams for some cheap extra grunt and insurance

    Where did I get too?
Shes home! Got some work to do now, must say I had a bit of a shock today when I went collect her. Pulled out a couple of pallets with stuff to bring and found that there are still 2 more left there, forgot how much I pulled out to get to just the shell. Well anyway pictures.

Had a bit of a go knocking the sound deadening out, but after spending 2 hours mowing the lawns so cant say I did much but its a start.

All of the sound deadening is now removed thankfully. Heavy stuff!

Also revealed the extent of the drivers foot well or the lack of. Next step get her mounted back on the turnover frame, and cut the foot wells out.

Well it only just fits, but its mounted. Next stop cut some bigger holes!

Removing the underseal from the underside. Hard going I can tell you some of it is rock solid and other bits like rubber.
That hole in the foot well appears to be getting bigger also :lol

Managed to spend a day on the old girl today, cant say I achieved that much. More or less as soon as I started the gas run out on my welder which hacked me off as ill have to wait till tuesday to get a new bottle. That been said the sill should be looking more like it when it gets stuck in properly.
What to do tomorrow, I may have to resort to cutting some more holes. I can at least shape the plates I suppose. Obligatory pictures...

Thanks guys, glad your enjoying this as much as i'am you all have no excuse now to neglect the gen4 ;) Anyway your all lucky, getting a fast paced thread here to try and get you up to date honestly its taken a while to get where it is. So heres some more.

Now the sill is shaping .....

    [IMG][IMG]

Sill all sorted on the passenger side so made a start of the floor, cut out the rot on the rear section and replated it didnt, take any pictures during dont want to bore you all too much. Also made a start on the front section.

Thats the Passenger side floor done, yay.

Lets attack the driver side, thought it was best to plate the center section before I removed the worst of the back section so I didnt loose too much shape.

Took a few more pictures this time of rolling the beads excuse the wonky lines the camera makes them worse honest

wow...not only are you replacing the metal...but you're keeping the original bends and shape to keep the structure rigidity. you will definitely not regret the work you put into this.
