Re: seank90, New steering rack!!! At last roadholding! for the vents im going to buy a few rolls of this... its vent sealing foam, should do the trick! he ships worldwide you just need to ask him for a price. Ebay Sealing Foam
Re: seank90, New steering rack!!! At last roadholding! Didn't realize the non-A/C box was so different Good to see those nice tools in action Foam is for the heater boxes and useless for the vents, vents have thin square foam seals held in place by grooves. Best I found was to cut bicycle tubing to fit and it's held up well or I'd be late defrosting every morning. Great to see one of these early cable operated units, got any spare? I think better than the later ones with motors & electronics.
Re: seank90, New steering rack!!! At last roadholding! ill try and figure out somethign for the vents when i strip the dash out! the foam should last another 15 years on the AC box, especially since its probably better quality that what was in it before. I have got a spare manual heater control unit! they work great.
Re: seank90, New steering rack!!! At last roadholding! BEFORE AFTER And still more cleaning needed!

With some clever tetris and the car will be right at home in ere'!
