  3. I've gotten 35 mpg on the highway on my way from CA to TN. Driving between 70 and 80 mph. Stock everything and my GT-S has 197,000 miles on it.

Wonder what mileage an ST185 WRC Edition 3S-GTE would get...

    Anyone?

Haha, Letze got about 22mpg highway in his 5g Trac with a JDM GTE.

What wheels did you get Meph? They look great.

Well come on thats a bit of a tease isn't it? You got to give more details than that.

You know everyone wants headers for their 3sge, what modifications did you have to make?

They do look nice and shiny. If it had of been a Trac it would have taken twice as long.

it was mostly bolt on, the big issue was the flage where it would have connected to the MR2 exhaust.

original flange had to be cut away on one side to clear the parallel chassis brace under the car, new flange had to be created using 1.5 cm washers i had lying around and bolts i welded to the old flange, 90 degree to the originals so it would clear everything. Edge of the parallel chassis brace has to be rolled and ground down to get clearance. All exhaust had to be removed from under car, measured up, weld the donor flage on (tack) reinstall, adjust, weld everything up. relocated o2 sensor to the down pipe, weld up old o2 sensor hole (interfered with drive shaft). lots and lots of fun, about 15~ hours

edit: egr had to be redone as well

show me a pic and i can tell you roughly if they will fit. the celica 2.2's wotn clear the starter, but for some reason the mr2 header is made to the shape that will.

Really like the clean look, very nice, the skirts look very good, just suits the car, the only bit which is not my cup of tea, lol is the front spots, is there any way you can blend em in or make them less forward if you Know what I mean.

But its a real great looking car, you must be well proud!

Hell, I'm still drooling over the whole car. It's beautiful, and very similar to what I want mine to look like eventually.

I took your advice with the fogs and pick up a new set for a low low price of 12.50! moved them flush with bumper, also removed crusie controll and got a few pics of the interior and strut bar i made. Also replaced rear disks and rebuilt the calipers last week :) new engine bay pic too
