well the belly pan is only going to be partial, front and back, first made from Coroplast, then ABS plastic one day If the Coroplast fails. Ive been able to push 32 mpg so far, aiming for 35 with a a few aero mods. Less drag also means better performance :)

Mephtar, I still think you'll full of crap with your 32mpg reading.... You have never even done the test correctly to see how much fuel you're actually using! :D

29mpg HIGHWAY is what these cars got BRAND NEW......

these cars are less efficient on the highway then they are doing around 80kph. 80kph is in and around the optimal speed vs drag ratio making them more efficient on long country roads then the highway. So i believe it, especially since i just calculated mine for this weekend, left home with a full take and set my trip meter thing. i took the highway but had cottage traffic both ways so i was doing between 60kph and 80kph plus some in town driving and i got 30mph calculated with an online calculator which converts liters of gas and km driven into mpg. 30mpg was reached with 3ppl in the car most of the time, in a mostly stock car plus luggage. so with and meph has no interior (every 100lbs less weight = 1-2% better gas mileage) its possible

how about you give me 1 gallon of fuel, and drop me off 32 miles from your house empty, and Ill come say hi.

I dont fill the tank up for many reasons

    1) weight
    2) cost
    3) I dont drive much anymore, it would go degrade
    4) Worn parts, filler tube turning to dust, dont want to spring a leak

Ive tracked every tank for the past 10' 000 km's between 29-33 mpg, improving as of laitly with new techniques and warmer weather. If tracking it my way is off by much, id eather have a bum tank were i get low mpg or id be stranded. Anyways, I get 13+ km/L. My wallet vs. odomitor will agree, even if you dont.

oh, and optimal speed is about 1750 rpm in 5th gear, so 60-70 km/h :) probabl could break 40 MPG driving this speed constant

im the process of painting the kit right now, waiting for the base coat to set, then a few more colour coats. It should be up and running tomorro I hope. 25 mpg in nemesis is nuts! How is the fuel ratio controlled?

but is it still O2 sensor input that controlls that? or is it mapped out?

Lookin good bud! I don't know how much blocking that air dam will help...id say if anything it's less aerodynamic now unless you fill in those holes with some foam and fiberglass/bondo or something.....
