I was sort of thinking the same thing - now you have splitter which would have some pressure build-up in front of it. What about cooling during the summer?
long story short the blocked ports will have pockets on air trapped in them and send the excess to the side. NOrmalyl the air would run into the engine bay and rad. The coolign system accounts for 55% of drag on vehicles, so blocking its entry=, while not the best solution (comparted to filling the gaps with foam or something, is more efficent than having them open. Ill see what differience it makes. So far Ive noticed an improvent when coasting out of gear. Its an educated experiment, ive been on a EcoModding forum getting ideas
ya im with rye, id be a little worried about engine temps getting too high. lol im worried and i dont have anything blocked so hows it working out?
Gah...I want mine to just roll on its own. Nice work Meph...very impressive. Did you infact get the Alltrac kit? Or at least a partial kit? I can't tell in the pics and the comp here at work sucks.
rear bumper and sideshirt. It looks good without the front bumper to me, i actually prefer the GT'S front end vs the alltrac in my situation. Thanks for the compliments
it is indeed looking nice. hey did you have any problems with the side reflectors attatching without the side trim being there? i would like my trim to go away but keeep the reflector. thanks man!
I used some adhesive on the ends of the reflector , there is a small gap but it looks fine for now. I kind lost my passanger side reflector, i hope it turns up
Would you be interested in putting in the door bottom pieces for the alltrac kit? I know I have two more and while I hate to part out a whole kit, I at this point its just space in the garage.
i was gunna ask if something was missing from the kit. it didnt sit right with me. looks good no matter what though
i still love those side skirts , one day ill find a bodykit over here for cheap ! i missed out on a whole car for 400 with a body kit but oh well i didnt know what i was doing with the car at the time tho yeah meph looks mean as!
