So its been a while so i thought id post an update, i ended up toally ripping the headlamp cover aprt after i primed and paitn matched it.the seams kept on breaking.So i had to sand it all down and weld in the sides.Then bondo, glaze it again, sand it down with 220 then 400 then 600 and then primer.So this is where im at right now..



So finally i got back to where i wanted it but i think im gonna take this mod one step further.I picked up 3m carbonfiber decal sheets and im gonna wrap the headlamp cover it that.Hoping that it comes out good :?

So anyways..ive gotten pretty good at this.if anyone is interested.
i'd be willing to do one for any of you for the price of a headlamp cover $15.00 [junkyard price] and $40 in labor or send me your headlamp and there will no headlamp cover fee.

I was pretty pissed when i had to do it all over again..but now that i did i dont regret it at all.

Hopefully the CF wrap will look sick.

prices for headlamp cover vents:

one head lamp labor 40.00 [each one takes about 8 hrs..so do the math]
shipping 10-15 most likely
15 for a core..or you can send me yours
i can also wrap it in a CF decal paper for 20 more
[thats what i did to mine]

Both headlamp covers:
80 labor
shipping 15-20
same deal for core and cf wrap.
cf 2.5 mil decal paper has a 5 year life per manufactor

im also doing a couple 240 sx's and probes
[im posting this on alot of forums and ppl are liking them]
..So trust me im getting very good at this.
