Ask Dave AKA ST165-2765, he knows more about the digi cluster than anyone else here at this point :fingersx

    Re: eNtrax's 162 GT (FE/AT): surprise!

update on digi dash, went back to the yard to grab the harness. i explained that i'd need it to make the digi dash work (which cost me $100 to begin with...it was on impulse and i was scared that it wasn't going to be there for long), but the asshole wanted more $$ just for the harness.

so i went out to the celica pissed off, cut the plugs that i needed instead of the harness, some power window lock buttons, shoved them in my pants, shove a LHS mirror in a jacket pocket to replace this on my USDM mirrors:

best part is that if i brought all of those stuff at the same time instead of on two separate occasions, he would've said $100 anyways.

oh and i found the fuel sender for the digi dash :), $20 lol
@seank, it was the only digi dash celica there, so that's the only sender for that :/

black to ground, the rest goes into the dash harness, A14, A19, A20...time to figure out which one lol

i don't have a clue as to why this celica was at the yard, nothing wrong with it body wise, no bumps asides from the front bumper being warped, NO RUST! the rear hatch opens and stays up like brand new, interior was great, red, vinyl roof lining, sunroof cover!, it didn't even have the typical spare tire swimming pool rust! so i couldn't walk away without cleaning it up. closed the hood/hatch, just so it can look proud :)

    THEIF!!! lol jk.

Yeah, you know how old cars are. One little fender bender, and WAPAM! It's "totaled".

Digital cluster is sick! Can't wait to see it running! :)

Can't believe someone would just trash that car! It had a digital cluster! IF they trashed just because of that VERY fixable dent on the front bumper then wtf. BUT, good find. Good thing these parts are going to use! Makes me feel alot better :cool

I think seanK has a digi cluster. There might've been a couple others I can't remember who though.

can you pull apart the sender and take pics? im really interested to see the difference.

-may be possible to reverse engineer, and mod an analog with radio shack parts?

when you plug it in can you read the voltage out of it from high to low?

maybe then we can get a converter for the analoge version if we know.
