Hm, I searched the site for Whiteline products, and wow, they really make trailing arms and control arms for the ST162?! Or are those only bushings?

some 2 years ago allready I bought some vinyls here...well...I put the GT-2 on (only the -2 part) and it's totally different from the original :(.... it's smaller and much much whiter :(.

So I'll try to order some originals for my GT 2 .

My turbo 2WD is under the hood so perfect @shows :).

Yup, it's totally different. Needs to go. The other looks great, but I would have placed it a little more forward.

Small update. The OEM decalls are not available (as you know) anymore so I guess the -2 will have to go and it keeps on being a 2.0 GT (GT-S in US).

I have a pic of cleaning the IC , the last cup is almost clear, the picture is shitty :)

Today I Insulated the IC, except for the 2 OEM stickers that I want to keep in sight.

The results :). It wasn't that hard afterall. Made a mistake changing the control arms to a short chassis model, but that was easly changed back to the long chassis which the celica RC is. I still have to paint and sticker it, but that is the hardest task in my opinion so I will wait a bit before doing that :p

    the box contents :

some weird lines in the body (you can feel them so shitty when spraying my own colour body) for sticker placement:

Damn it!!! I need to get one of those............this could be bad cause RC's get expensive I hear.

Would it be possible to fill the unwanted lines?

not sure, maybe by using some sprayfiller. You should order now I guess as Tamiya won't produce them for years and years I guess allthough it's just the body as the chassis is the standard on all cars chassis....

as the T-Vis plate on my intake looked bad I decided to take off the chrome part and re-sprayed it black. Still have to decide what colour to make the letters, maybe fluorescent red or so from modelling paint??

Finished insulating the back of the heatshield today :) Don't know if it helps anything, except vor opening the hood and not having a sauna in your face :)
