    Ive missed soo much! Love your work and that model is just AMAZING!

    Re the heatsheild, it should help the paint from falling off thanks to the insulation keeping your engine looking amazing so IMO worth it 100%

    No, I used to have an alltrac as well.. I stripped it and re-used it in my car.

    hey, what did you use to insulate the heatshield? does it stick on like a sticker?

    It sticks on like a sticker indeed... I have the box in the shed. Will share info later today :). It feels a bit like when pushing/folding lead but then sticky on the back. So you can push it into all corners quite well.

    thank you very much, you know if the installation of a right-hand drive celica valid for each left-hand drive, will cost much or adaptation, or was arriving and fit, thank you very much.

    it will require a lot of soldering as you have to lengthen it with half a meter or maybe somewhat more. You have to be really carefull making a good cut and solder as every extra resistance can be cause for electrical issues.

    Right... today I had a bad day with the celica :(I planned on finding my coolant leak tuesday and replacing the thermostat by an oem as I suspect it not functioning... So before driving 70km's to my friend who is my mechanic as well I decided to do a little drive around the hometown as a test.

    It's been a few months since I drove it... I drove about 50 meters and had to brake for the end of the street I live and guess what.. my brake line decided to give up after 26 years of loyal service :(... so not knowing what was going on, except loosing brake pedal stiffness and bad braking I drove a carefull round around town on empty streets and drove back... only to find out the brakeline really broke and was leaking as hell, so goodbye expensive brake fluids :)...

    It's about a meter before the left back wheel the leak. So no drive on tuesday as driving without brakes is not recommended ;).

    I did manage to find a coolant leak :) on the custom T-piece I had on the top coolant hose. I had it because of the lack of a seperate input on the 3sge rad... Worked fine and guess the hose is old and also the hoseclamp was loose or so.. Anyways, I don't want this custom setup anymore and want something descent for my car !!

    I will keep the car in the garage untill somewhere next year and have made my plans untill then : -
    Renew all brakelines;
    - A decent rad which has all cooling capacities and all connections I need : http://www.ebay.nl/itm/280887336291...36291&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1
    - Spal fans instead of the OEM one;
    - putting on my whiteline rear swaybar including replacing all bushings;
    - buy and install the yellow koni's all around with my current lowering springs;

    I probably forgot to mention something I may want to replace, so fill me in if you have a realistic idea :)

    So...that was a testdrive I didn't expect it to be today... :(

    Goal 2013 : A safe and road + track worthy car :)

    Ouch, scary thing. So did your flexi line start to leak, or the "rigid" pipe?

    this isn't just from me but words of advise...
    use STOCK fans if you can. the stock fans are retardedly good.

    it's the rigid ones that are going :(. So an advice to all to double check those and take the protection off.

    @Mafix... the thing is so "fat" ... not sure if it still fits after the other rad.. spal's seem to be handling the flow as well (2 spal fans of course).

    sorry to hear of the recent issues mate.

    Agree stock fans are really good, the spal slimone, just do not shift the same volume of air.

    shame you could not get a group but on a decent aftermarket rad, my old one was perfect, used the existing fans, yet was much more effective

    thanks for the input :).

    Will see if the stock one fits first. I am just irritated that I still was not able yet to feel trinity's real power !
