It says location is Melbourne Australia, but for that price I would say they're being manufactured in China..

I thought the same... I guess the development is in AUS and production in China. As long as it's good shit I'm ok with that :). It should be a real big upgrade compared to my standard GT-S one !

no noted flaws. i've only seen one that needed a tiny spot weld where there was a pinhole in the corner on the factory weld.

So I thought...if not now when ever? So ordered me yellow koni's for all corners :). That should be a nice upgrade in driving the car. Pictures when I receive them :)

Nice Xmas present you got there, sorry to hear about the problems.
I'm hoping to get Bruce to make another custom rad for my car and some overflows next year.

I had a weird experience the other night, drove 70km and smelt a burning smell when I pulled off the highway only to find the rad cap had come loose and the water was almost gone.
Keeping the revs down and the auto rad was able to keep the motor cool and didn't blow the head gasket.
I guess I'm due a little luck for a change?

Quick question guys pls advice :

I wanted to order new rad hoses from Toyota, but they can only deliver the top one of the st165.

For the lower hose.... Can I order the ST205 one without a problem? That way I can have OEM hoses ...

    thanks :)

Hm, I thought it's the same on the ST165 / ST162. Maybe it's just a small difference, if you still have your old ST162 hose, try it on and you'll see if it fits (my bet is on yes), and you can order a new one from that too. ST205 one is compatible as well, but as I read you have cut it smaller or something like that.

    yummy!

for the st205 hose, it will work, however the bottom hose needs to be cut a little on both ends as the st205's distance from motor to radiator is longer. not cutting the bottom hose makes the hose pinch into acute angles instead of 90 degree angle bends.

top hose simply needs to be cut on either side.

use your judgement on how much to cut! but it will work.

Good stuff! Did you find a good deal somewhere?

Entrax is right, the 205 motor sits higher and further away from the radiator.
Personally I prefer the silicone a/m hoses which are stronger, better looking and cheaper.
I've been running a set of cut 205 hoses for the past 3yrs without any problems but you need to be very precise when you cut them

Nice Roy, I'm glad it's all coming together for you
