:aargh :cuss :aargh No Good News :aargh :aargh
3 Ignitors, 2 Distributors, 2 Cap & Rotors, Still nothin....

Getting spark to the distributor, but not to the plugs... But the coil throws out a faint orange lite on the tester, maybe not throwing enough voltage???

sounds like its dizzy. the coil relys on the dizzy relaying a pulse back to it to keep going. could it be as simple as a fucked wire on the plug for the dizzy. they are a pain of a spot and have a tendancy to break

I'm gonna try another distributor/dizzy tomorrow.... I miss driving him. Granted driving the Supra to work all week wasn't exactly torture... :cool .

you know it was torture, driving a slow snails pace due to the extreme turbo whine and horsepower under that hood and that you couldn't fully let them out...oh yeah you know it was torture,.

    Bummer
At least now you know why there's a spare ECU under the dash and a dizzy, coil, CDI,
waterpump, tensioner, idler in the boot plus spare hoses and belts :fingersx
with my luck something else will break.....

    my dual ECU setup
    [IMG]

And yes, I have been known to change all of the above on the side of the road and once even a set of big end bearings in a mall parking lot

Very awesome car, rickstar. I love the rims, especially.

I have a noobish question, since it's only my first post on these forums. I love the taller side skirts which your car has, compared to the thinner versions of other st162's. How hard is it to come by these? Are they imported from another market, or standard on US GT-S'? :)

First of all... WELCOME !!!!
To answer your question, these are just run of the mill, factory US market side skirts.
We need to see your car, and hear a little bit more about you !!! Start a thread in the Intro or member's rides section soon... Always love seeing new people climbing aboard !!! :crazy :hsdance

they are actually only on the convertibles and gt-s over here in the us. the side skirts are easy to find, its the front mudflap thats the hardest and you have to have them to cover the front part of the side skirt.

Made my day to hear this.........any sightings on the "blonde hottie" yet ? :naughty Do you actually think she's one of those people who knows what she's driving, or could it be her other halfs' car. Maybe she could be a true enthusiast but has yet to find her way here :D
