that this question might be a little retarded but after serching around the site i havent been able to find much info on the infamous lightweight flywheel. i thought if i ever had to pull my motor it would a nice thing to add but from what i gather they cause drivabillity issue.
so the queston is do the cons outweight the pros...?

Having a light weight flywheel has more pros than cons- One thing for the pros- lighter- you can rev alot of faster.

Cons- some say that the fly wheel if unbalanced can throw off the balance, in the drive train. But that with any part....

I say if your planning on it-go for it!

    cool
cause in both the gts's ive driven i can feel the power thats there
its just the heavy stock flywheel is holding it back
although it is good for cruising

well I picked mine up today, and it's heavy as hell. so unless theres a serious problem with them, I think it would mkae a big difference.

Since i have my motor out i was thinking the same thing..My celi will barely get 1000 miles a year so i dont think the chances of it causing too much harm is there..
