Clay barring is a long and tedious process but for us, it's a pleasure :)

Use the biggest piece you can. You can use a detailing spray as a lubricant or water. Best to use a spray bottle and keep it wet at all times. Keep folding the clay bar over once you've done one panel.

Once the Celica is fully clayed, the bodywork should be silky smooth. The body is clean of any previous polish/wax, therefore you're going to have to put on a good coat of polish, sealant , and wax ( optional ).

As far as know about products like Meguiars Scratch X, I think it draws paint over the scratches. Once that has been done to a standard you're happy with, its just a process of polishing it up. Might need a few passes of polish, once that is done, use sealant or wax for the final touch.

Watch his video of him taking out a deep key scratch off of a red truck......unreal :shock

No Steve, I do not have a DW but I plan on getting one. I have watched a lot of his videos and
he is very informative about the products he is using and types of pads and buffer speed. He has
another neat video of him showing his 3 step process on a BMW and there is another video of a 07
BMW where he has done a 4 step process. I am going to experiment with some of his techniques
in the future on my 86 GT because I have a medium depth key scratch on the drivers side going
almost the entire length of the car. Had it there for over 8 years now. What I find really amazing about
this guy is that he has Parkinson's disease which causes him to shake a bit and he can still finesse
the paint any way he wants.

I Have recently contacted the experts at Polished Bliss (One of the best sites in Britain IMHO) to ask what they recommend for my Two Tone Metallic Paint. They recommended the Werkstat System .

I have bought this very reasonably priced kit and true to their work It has given me my best results so far. Ill post up later!
I do recommend a look at there site though.
