well i did a little work to the old girl, can you believe i started putting parts back on it? i finally sprung to buy the front main gaskets and crank seal. i fitted my new home made bypass line on, and tonight i finally picked up the bolts to put on the water pump. painting the timing cover tomorrow. and possibly putting on the timing belt i got the crank sprocket and brand new no.2 idler on. i still dont have the no.1 idler, but that may come soon. as well as cam seals. well heres some pics.

well i thought its time i give a little update to my old car, it seems in recent days the vandals have been picking on my poor car. i have done some work to it. i got my no.1 idler, and got the timing belt on. it was a pita to re-time. this mainly cause i lost both knock pins in the rain :( so for like two days i had to try to find a suitable replacement for them. i ended up finding a set of hardened roll pins, i just hope there enough not to shear them, then i loose all timing. also i bought a set of cam seals can you believe they had them in stock?? i was like wow?? so i pulled the vc off, put them in and then permatex'd the seal spots. put it on then proceeded to put on my cam gears, line them up and set the engine up. so this starts my new tale. i had the engine on the mounts before putting the cam gears and idler on, so im trying to spin her to no1 tdc, she wont budge.. i think its a little seized from having no pan on it. so i stick the 2' johnson bar on it.. nothing. so fuck it i pull the plugs and run a live to the starter. and nothing but black shot out of the no.1 cylinder. so much that it covered the car, and shot on the ground behind the back of the car...so i think some water got in her hahah. that solved i spun her to no1 tdc and proceeded to time the engine. i dropped a bolt down the no2 timing cover..... fuck. . . so i had to unmount the engine and lower it down. repulling the crank pully and popping off the cover. nothing hard, just a pain in the ass. so since it was raining i set the engine on the jackstands and said ill re-mount it tomorrow. i had picked up some kick ass parts for it and went to put them on the following day. this is where the vadals come in. they only jumped on my car.. . .. the engine fell off the stands and landed right on the bare pickup. fucked the cv, overextended it and pulled it apart. the timing cover went into the frame rail and shattered, thankfully the timing gears and idlers came out ok. so i fought and fought and fought, but i got her mounted back up and got everything back to normal. i had to pull off the passengers strut to get the cv out, and i rebuilt it sitting on my ass outside my apt staring at hot chicks hahah. ahh i love summer so i get that back together. i have decided that my ignition problem is my module. so im going full msd EVERYTHING. i was fucking around on summit and found a coil now for all you newbies, no its not for a celica, nor import so dont ask me, your post will be deleted haha. its a generic hei coil. the primary is like .3347 ohms and the secondary is like 4.5k thats fucking stupid... haha. so soon to come is wires and a new module. heres some pics as always.

this is the last update for a good while. sorry guys.

the car is gone, moved into storage. where it will stay for some time. it took some damage going there. with a solid suspension and steering fabb'd up out of two rod ends and a steel bar it bent the front rails a bit, i think i can fix it. and not to metion she was dragged 60km with no oil pan. so i have to pull the mains and conrod caps, clean the bearings and put assembly lube in her in case any sand got in the bottom end. i know bearings have embeddability, but still. better safe than sorry. heres something for you guys. remember the timing cover that the fucking kids broke? its ready to go back on!! haha i learned a neat easy plastic welding trick. worked effin good. just needs paint. :) i plan to get one big effin locker, 10x30x8 so i will have more than enough room to work on the car. but the camaro i have is closer and cheaper to going on the road. its a beater and i dont care what happens to it. unlike my car where i want it perfect, and my way. so for now im going to organize her things, and gather parts, go out and work on it whenever i can. and never give up on her. shes a good 45m drive away. atleast shes indoors and safe. heres some pics of my timing cover fix.
