Anyone knows the part number of the wiring cover that's on the head? Or it's proper name, a buddy of mine needs it and we don't seem to find it on toyodiy.

    This one:

It would be great! I haven't advertised it, but yes, I have that plate holder and can give it in exchange for that cover, if you find it.

I'm planning a trip to our local Pick-An-Pull this week to sell some wheels, I'll see if they have some of these in stock. I need one too, but am concidering just using wire loom instead, but mine is for a racecar!

Fernando: Great, I'll show the pics to my buddy and let you know how he decided.

eNtraxGT88: Yes, that's what we have learnt in the meantime too :(

racerb: Good idea, I think you can take as many as you can, there will be others on the site who need them for sure!

My buddy said it looks okay, but we checked the shipping to africa and looks like our national post gone mad with the prices since the last time I sent something to a different continent. They are asking around 70USD if we wish to send you something, and it's just not worth for him, sorry :(

No luck guys, the local Pick-An-Pull is totally out of '86-89' Celicas. I'm going to check with Pull-A-Parts in Columbia SC to see if they have any, these cars are getting harder to find! :crying

Ok, what sizes do you need to be measured?
I think they should give you the same quote for anywhere in Hungary, but I send you the address in pm.

Thanks, how much is the shipping, how much do you ask for the part, and where shall I send the money? :)

  16. Plastic Wire Cover

I made a wrap with some of the corrugated wire cover after a thin layer of fiberglass cloth wrap, then wrapped it in some nice pvc gas line tape (A bit thicker mil)...I dis not try and tuck it back into the crevasse as my plastic piece looked like it got real hot in there.... Looks reasonable and works.

Adam don't worry about the part price it will be as a gift the shipping was R80-00 which equals to about 8 euro I really don't want the money for it what you could do for me is maybe donate that for me to this site for I am still not a donated member due to not having Paypal if you can if you can't not don't worry then thanks

Jimmyjamboree: Thanks, but my friend prepares his car to be a veteran when it reaches the age of 30, and therefor he has to keep every part original.

Fernando: That's very kind of you, and sure, I will arrange the donation with Willie (Mafix). Also, will grab the number plate holder and put up photos (didn't have time for that yet).
