They weigh like 3500 pounds at least. I thought for sure the Miata I'm driving would at the very least be able to keep up. I guess this guy needs a hybrid the way he drives.

i dont really need to say more but ill explain it lol

i was pulling onto the freeway and i like to be doin 110 b4 i hit it so ppl dont have to slow down for me to let me in, but this guy in a really done up civic saw me coming down and prob heard my exhaust or something and floored it past me prob at about 140 or more, so i gased it a little bit and stayed in behind him. then we came to a round-a-bout and he kept trying to like go real fast and get the jump on me (wtf for i dont know - prob trying to show off) anyways , kept goin till we came to a set of lights.... basically, light went green, he fucking hammered it and i got a good launch, by second i was about a car length infront of him, then snapped 3rd and hit about 120 and backed off... absolutely killed him hahaha

imagine how pissed off he was having spent like 10 grand on a newer car and suspension and rims and tyres and engine mods, etc then being beaten by a stock 86 celica. i saw him laughing at the lights looking at my car...

that'll teach him hahaha for driving a honda

plus i had a few ppl in the car and he didnt....

just thought id share my victory

I've got a mate who has a green one, rims, clear tail lights, rice exhaust etc and he lives up at yarra, thats why I was wondering if it was his On green p's though.

Shame there aren't any Civics down this way, smashing VTEC sounds like fun So far I've only had a run against my mate's SSS Pulsar, and yeah he had a fraction more go than me, but wouldn't have been able to pass me.
