Myklebust's Celica 4AGE

Hi! I'm new to the forum and thought I'd post my car here. I live in Norway and I'm a member of your "sister" forum, Toyota Sportscar Owners Group Norway (TS-OGN). Its an 1988 euro spec model AT160 with approx. 120 hp, 144 torques, 0-60mph: 8,9s. The car has a really low mileage at 142000km (or 88200miles). Its quite mint!
I've also made some mods to the car:
- Put in electric drivers seat. AT160 didn't come with that as standard.
- New Pioneer 2DIN CD/AUX/USB player.
- Subwoofer with 12" element, amplifier and condensator.
- K&N sports air filter.
- Sound proofed doors and trunk.

Also took care of some rust.

I won't update here as often as I do on TS-OGN, but there will be some occasional updates

The rims are AEZ 16" with lowprofileish tires. Gotten a lot of comments that they look larger than they are. When I bought the car, I personally thought they were at least 17". Winter rims are older Momo rims. They could need a new paintjob tho.

You can see my Carina II in the background of one of the pics. Those are great cars as well!

 

Thanks! I really like the colour on it too. Mostly because its so reflective, its like a mirror in sunshine.

Will update when I do anything special with it. I'm thinking of fixing it up with coilovers next, but we'll see. Will probably post some pictures from the other forum too.

Thanks! There's some rust on the sunroof and A-pillar, otherwise all mint! Looks great underneath, interior is spotless and it has low mileage! Will get the rust fixed for the next season.

 

Word! I have yet to find a bad angle! It simply won't be overlooked this car Have found that it looks the best with the headlights down, compared to the T16 that looked just as good any way you had them! Totally agree on the rims! My car's appearance is just destroyed by those I have on now. But with the originals.. man I can't wait!
