today I picked up the car :)

Ow what a joy to ride now !! It feels really strong and fast ! But dyno will tell me the truth :).

Unfortunately I have a little sound when changing to 5th that sounds as if you don't fully press the clutch (teethcleaning we calll it here) but I fully press the clutch so I have to speak to the person that sold me this "checked" gearbox. And on my way home....it's very stormy here now...I lost the top part of the windshield trim !!! This was IN the sealant...so...I'm going back to the company that changed my windshield some 2 years ago to get it fixed on their costs...even if they dont'think so :) lol.

I made some small vids of the gauge I bought and some pictures for STIG's request for the ST165 front/fog thing. :) Will upload later today.

Very smart, the engine sounds very healthy and smooth ! Gauge looks good too.

Must be a very strong storm for the trim to fly off. Lets hope the windscreen company use common sense and sort it out.

storm was powerfull indeed, much damage in the country here, I believe the UK had damage as well?

Good news about this strip, I called the company that replaced my frontscreen and they will replace it for me under guarantee, so probably they need to take the whole screen out again and re-place it.

    Happy about it :)

new strip (OEM) placed today without removing the screen thank god :).

too bad the drive was too short, only on the way back my oil was warm enough to hit boost a few times :). man o man ... it's so freakin fast I can't wait too spring to drive it ALOT this year :).

    boost is very addictive......

I have a few things to do this winter though :
    - Replace cracked rearlight driversside
    - Find a decent BOV for not too much money
    - put the 2 on GT to make a GT2 on the rear :)
    - TRD 71 celcius thermostat
    - install foglights
    - remove HID and place OSRAM nightbreaker plus halogen bulbs
    - heatresistant foil on the inside of the hood, as original
    - oilcap from trd/hks or whichever is cool
    - adjust power on official papers

probably more stuff, like cleaning little things and so and whatever I stumble upon :).

This was the most cool looking I've found a few years ago (and bought it :) ):

Will you really need the 71 celsius thermostat on street use? Or will you keep the car for track days?

Thanks Roy, I thought the Euro looked like on this car (has a JDM set lying on the floor) but yours is JDM with some caps

I got it from eBay, but haven't see it since then sadly :S Looks like they mostly have this kind in many color variations:

Today I removed the xenon from the car, I exchanged it for H4 Osram Nightbreaker PLUS, as I don't really use it much at night and with the new cabling I needed an extra 30 euro cable for making it work again.

It seems 1 of my connectors was fried ... so I cut it off and put in a hella universal H4 connector as replacement. It works fine again :).

I also test fitted one of the foglights :). The windscreen strip is also on again :) me happy . I put the xenon in my old beat up green corolla which is my daily shit with dents and stuff :) lol but has a lot of light in it now :).

Roy, I enquired about this issue with Cyberad. It was because he was sorting out some anti spam issues, so he had to roll the database back causing this.

Any photos of the windscreen trim ? I hope it fits nice and flush without a single gap. :)

thanks steve :) That explains what happened.

It fits nice now, I'll make a picture of it this week, have tons of pictures to make but don't want to start her up only for some pictures. It's freezing here now, so salt is on roads making it impossible for me (don't want to ;) ) to drive the car around :).
