Thanks. Yeah its been an interesting ride. The seats I pulled off a 88 GTS in the Fairfield Pick-n-Pull. Interior was super clean but unfortunately it was an automatic so I didn't pull any transmission components.

I believe I have found the oil leak(s). I've ripped the car apart to find two things:

    1) A line of oil leaking from the distributor. Looks like I need a new distirbutor o ring? I didn't find any oil inside the dist cap.

    2) Front main? I pulled the timing belt cover off to see if oil was leaking from the cam seal I installed but no oil there so I worked my way down to find an interesting oil spray pattern on the fender wall. Also the entire area around the power steering pump and pulleys are covered in oil, leaking down to the passenger side of the oil pan gasket. The oil travels along the base of the engine mount to the center where it pools and drips down. I assume this is the same with the distributor. I'm not 100% sure on this yet but I cleaned out the area with simple green and after I fix the distributor and reattach my exhaust manifold (or buy the one from st162rocket and use that) I'm going to run the car with the timing belt cover off and see if the oil is leaking there. If so, I'll be doing the crank seal and oil pump. Not too difficult.

Also I'm still trying to source parts for my manual swap. From there I'll do the rear main while I have the transmission dropped.

Heres some pictures of the leaky areas.

    Oil.

    More oil.

[IMG] Distributor cleaned and ready for reinstallation. I need to replace the o ring but I can't find the part # anywhere for it. Any ideas?

    I'm down to join

    Check this website out http://www.toyodiy.com/
It's a good reference for finding part numbers on any toyota (USDM, CADM, EDM, & JDM)
plus it has rough estimates on pricing and also if you make an account (it's free) You can see diagrams of all the parts.

Good work on the interior. I really like those seats, they'll never look dated. The black interior definitely improves the look

Lets revive this long forgotten thread with some new pictures!

Cleaned and refreshed the engine. Replaced the VSV with a junkyard one. Added a few more grounding points and preparing for the Big 3.

Brother in laws garage. Had to fix a few rain leaks in the interior. Found water under the passenger seat, underneath the antenna area, etc. Hopefully fixed all. Didn't see any rust though. Resealed the rear hatch also.

Thinking that the Pt. Defiance 5-Mile Drive cruise might be happening, but haven't seen anything on the PSTOC forum.

Boy, that looks familiar...lol I like the highlighting of the bezel... good touch !!!!

It is adjustable via the dimmer switch :)

Its a TRD carbon fiber sticker. I was given a set awhile back and thought it looked cool.

Put on original emblem vs the prefacelift. You can see my girlfriend's Honda behind my car.

I took a quick video of the jumpy RPM issue i've been getting.

    http://youtu.be/MrTPyeDOXps

You can see between 30-35mph when I let go of the throttle the RPM bounces around 1k and I can feel it jerking the car back and fourth. This happened after I replaced my cracked radiator.

wow that is CLEAN! your front end looks great! that lip looks like you just got it from the dealership! haha good call on the white celica bar between the headlights.
i do like the "TOYOTA" logo on the side, imo it mixes the look of pre-facelift and facelift.

try it and see if you like it! here's my old facelift celica with the "toyota" in the pre-facelift position

Ooh nice maybe I'll move it over to see how it looks. I really want a Twincam16 badge though.

Funny story about the lip. I went down to the paint shop to have them mix me some matte black paint to respray the lip. Well they gave me a can of shiny black with a matte black label. I decided it looked nice that way and still got a refund for the pint of paint!
