Yes, the noise is still there. Camber is strange in my case, because my left side knuckle doesn't have it while the right side does have it. I guess the car was hit in the past and they replaced it with that (don't know which side is the original). I don't think it can make the sound, because if that's loose, it's a serious problem
Ahh well worth a try. I had them on my original '87 steering knuckles, but my replacements from an '89 don't have them. Balljoint didn't come with the bolt I need, big trek tomorrow to the one place i know will have it. good luck with your hunt
I decided to make one on the weekend. Strongly Already recharged the batteries in the camera. Hope they won't be already depleted that time...
sorry if you have already checked this but i think it could be your brakes because this has happened to me there are little clips in the caliper that are called anti rattle clips these can come off they just hold the pad in more securely another cause is the bolt that holds the shock absorber into the strut this can come loose sometimes due to road/car vibrations check these out if you haven't already
:lol2 Hm, the anti-squeel plates are a good idea, but I changed the whole calipers as well (to ST185 ones). So unless they have the exact same problem... will check it anyways. I already checked the bolts on the strut mount and on the strut top as well.
So I went on a very crappy road and made a video. Sadly the sound is not as loud as it is in real, and it's tone is much lower too. But you can hear it, basically all other sounds and noises that is not the exhaust is the clacking (except the oncoming truck ). Sorry for the night shot, I tried to arrive there while it was still daytime, but didn't manage, but I made one on the way home too, same crappy road, with many many small bumps that are shaking the wheels almost all the time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDhs3GDUAa0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OezWYRpEdlE
You mean jack up front, put in gear and let off clutch? I guess nothing, I only hear it when going over bumps.
Yup. Camera is a cheap one so sound ins't exactly like in real, it made the metalic clank to thudding :S
