Ok guys a slight update with a slight hitch,
attempted to do the outer cv joints on the weekend and had no luck what soever, watch videos read the haynes manual and tried every method i could think of but for the life of me could not get the outer cv joints off the driveshafts,
i tried spitting at them throwing dirt on them yelling at it placing into a vice and hitting with a rubber mallet like the videos showed me and they wouldnt budge,
As i am doing this car to be fixed up and give to e good friend i would like to keep costs as low as possible so trying to avoid buying new shafts.

has anyone got tips on what i could do?

hey for the AFM clip, some handywork with paperclips will work! my tps plug needed one as it kept on popping off. made one to the right shape/size off of a paperclip and it works just as normal, it even 'clicks' to place!

Why didn't i think of this. i was actually looking at a box of paper clips the other day and ended up joining them together and damaging them because they seemed useless to me lol
cheers for the tip man you have actually been pretty helpful with a lot of things.

    Ok guys quick update.
im still active on here but lurking in the shadows for the time being lol.

anyways i have packed up the car in the garage for the time being until i can do work on it.
i have a new drivers side guard i picked up off rev heads banshee celica and new front indicators and a rear tail light.
so far i have put some of the car back together but lack of funds has slowed me down majorly.
but it is still coming along just becoming more of a long term project than i was hoping lol

Hey all. Another update for you.
I have packed the car up and cleaned the shed for the time being but did install a new drivers side guard and tensioner pulley from robs banshee celica and have a couple of other parts i need to pick up still.

Also may have some possible driveshafts coming for the car so i can get underway and have it mobile again.

Has slowed down a bit but hopefully once i get to work again i can spend a bit of cash on it again.

i am also now in the process of purchasing a possible 3rd celica thats missing a lot but has the main parts im after for this car.
