ebay is the best place for the led's......you buy 5smd bulbs for the gauges.....and front lenses. door panel and hood requires a different one.......cant seem to remember which tho...ill look it up when i get off work.
This is what I use, some in blue, some in white T10 5SMD: Cluster - (4x) (turn signals/warning indicators i kept them the old bulbs because it doesn't make a difference) T10 7LED: Front corner markers (2x) (JDM/EDM top part) T5 1SMD: Key ring cigarette lighter surround (take off green plastic) Ashtray light Glovebox light Modified T5 (take off the plastic and retrofit into existing housing): HVAC (2x) i didn't bother changing the green indicators for the HVAC, just the lighting for the buttons 32mm Festoon 6SMD for Courtesy lights: Front (must modify housing) Center Doors (find 2 extra trunk courtesy light covers, the white one instead of red) Trunk
To get rid of the smell first clean up the ash tray, then put a bag a charcoal banquets and open up the bag in a x with a knife. the charcoal soaks up the nasty smells.
i kept my old car's ashtray, which hasn't been used ever except for cellphone storage lol. i'll try that charcoal thing! thanks! one small pic update, taken by my gf while she was accompanying me when i converted to facelift front end whoever did the paint job was freakin smart, that bottom part that looks like it's orange peel is actually some kind of paint that resists paint chips, rocks, anything that gets thrown on it.
headlight buckets? i just took out the old grille and corner lights, popped in the facelift edm corners, top screws for the facelift grille, ziptied the edges. i have to look at a yard to figure out how they properly fit. but they look straight!
yeah i just re-did mine to delete the drywall screws that were holding the grille on. you need the headlight buckets and the center piece that holds the horns, ect. the little sqaure bit that the grille clips to is welded on the buckets and is in a different position on the post. the center bit looks exactly the same but is actually more forward for the grille to attach. -i used the post grille with pre "celica" bit and eyelids. painted the grille with plasti dip....looks mint and no clicking or binding when the lights flip. p.o.'s conversion was f'n ghetto. ill throw up some pics today.
interesting, i'll grab a look at that when i do it properly. if you can take a pic of the required pieces that'd be appreciated too, thanks!
pic updates: transition from GT to GT-S dirty picture i need a new "celica" grille plastic original mats!: owner's manual, owner's guide, original pouch CHECK THIS OUT LOL i finally figured out the lines on the oil pressure thing lol
