Glad to hear you're not selling, it's a nice wip you have going

As for the oild leak, check that you're oil filter has the o-ring and/or is tight. It is also possible that the o-ring shrunk on you and it's leaking :?

New springs ordered! 1.6 inch drop. Then I get to install my Kyb gr2 struts along with them, can't wait to see the results. And I'm also hoping to pick up some 7th gen gts rims on the 20th for $160. If I get the rims I'm gonna spray em white then save up for the rubber to go with them, then I'll be lowered and have nice wheels :D

I like the std silver rims - if these are the ones you're talking about?
I think silver (like you already have) will make it look more aggressive in 16in with 5 spokes,
painting them will immediately make the car look pimped out

You will need 2x10mm+ spacers for the rears - mine don't fill the rear arches like they should.
I have 205/50/16 but you may decide to use wider tyres and ignore the spacer.

Be aware that painting the rims may draw unwanted attention of the fuzz kind, the car looks
like a really good std example - why change that?
I'd also strongly recommend photoshopping the car first with the different colours, to see
which you prefer, white will look good but you may prefer the look of Alwayz's black rims or
    something else?

yeah im buying 25mm spacers for the rear also ^^. and idk about the paint, i personally think it would look good, but black is another option, either white or black idk, but i dunno, we'll see!

    update
    got my springs today :D
heres my parts to install this week:
1.6 inch drop b&g springs, kyb gr-2 struts, already did the fronts just have to do the rears, and then i will re install the strut bars, hopefully my ride is muuuch stiffer than stock, my stock springs are f'd so my body roll is horrid right now. heres a parts pic:

I didn't know there would be any difference in feel with the gas pedal by removing the cruise control... though maybe just for a weight reduction :S

    Quicker response eh? That's awesome!

    Re: 86 GT-S

Well I put the new struts and springs on the rear, couldn't do the fronts due to the lack of a compressor, but I'm very happy with how the rear looks and I have muuch less body roll when breaking, I really need an alignment cuz now there is waay too much positive camber..I have camber bolts but don't know how to install them..can't wait to put the fronts on! Only bad thing is that I need a newrear sway bar link now and I busted the shit out of my thumb...will put some pics up soon !

    already did haha...
and ya i basically dont have a rear sway bar right now cause one of the links both bolts are stripped, the little allen key part inside...and they're so rusted its not even funny...

Looks sooooo sexy. Damn man great job. With some low profile tires and nice rims it'll be awesome! I bet it'd look EVEN better with the mud flaps removed...I'm thinking of doing that with mine. I took my front right mud flap off and now it barely stays on because the holes the bolts sat it are completely rusted out so before removing them only the rust was holding them in.

Man, it looks good but I'm fed up replacing front spoilers every time
I hit a speed bump or try get up a driveway.

Also check your cambers or you'll start eating the inside of your tyres

actually it looks like it has too much positive camber on the back...wierd. but yeah when i get the fronts on ill get an alignment.
