Anyone ever found a cold air intake for our cars? I've been looking for my 88GTS, w/o any luck. Is there anything else that can be done w/ the air intake? Thanks.

What brand short ram did you find? I haven't found anything cruising the web. Can you notice any performance improvement over the stock setup?

Check out ebay, thats where I got mine. There are lots of different intakes, but generally they are all the same material. I dind't really notice any difference in performance how-ever, it makes the car sound really good.

    Good luck

I put a 3" maf adapter on the maf sensor. Then I ordered a 3" aem filter and poped it on. Fits well and I did it to both my cars. cost about 60 bucks per car. I also put a small bracket to hold the MAF and filter from bouncing around by bolting it to the upper right of the adapter plate, and then bolted it to the strut tower. Works great, better throttle response, much better top end. No water problems either. Love it.

Sick sounds from the engine may occur.

ebay maf adapter + whatever 3" filter you buy is about all there is. I actually wish my car had a maf, I would save gas :(. WOT sounds sick though.

Turbo requires more work... I'm doing a short ram w/airbox + hosing to the hole in the alltrack bumper

Not the best pics, but this is how my K&N short ram in set up. I plan on repiping from throttle body to cold air pick up where battery lives now, after battery moves to rear of the car. I'm going to build a cold air box behind the left headlight cover, using the grill area left when you remove the lower cover trim. Pics to come!!
