i went to the track today for the first time. It was fucking awsome, i suck at draging... i ran a 16.4 in my celi. But i had a boost leak, i was running 8psi but wasn't pulling so when i got done with the first run i poped the hood and the tubing was loose from the turbo to the intercooler. After i fixed it it started to f***ing rain so no more runs for me. 25$ for one freakin run plus a 2 hour car ride. heres my prob mafix, she pulls but not very hard. Its like i have a boost leak or something, idk. My reaction time sucked..... i wasn't really paying attention, i was looking at the car next to me, next thing i see is a green light... o shit, fuck bad launch... actually it was so bad u cant even call it a launch. O and i braked early *hits self on head* when the turbo spools up she pulls but then it feels like something just holds me back, its weird. I never had the feeling before i took the engine out.
how do u brake early on a 1/4 mile, i can see in autox haha ah w/e guess i have never tried myself... ya mafix had the balls to be a jerk first, i read it and decided to be nice definately get that problem fixed though, what are stock 165s supposed to run anyway. i know the 162 was 16 even from stats ive seen as of 86
ok lets see new clutch, is it broken in yet? everything monitering ok, temps and such? good idle, no smoke? if all that checks out, does TVIS work?
stock st165 is suppose to run a 15.6 iirc. They had no real marking for finish line so when i passed the sign i started braking, which was 25 before the finish line. This track was in the middle of freakin no where, it was just a drag strip. I'll do much better my next time.
i'd love to help ya out on it as well, but i want to make sure all things are good before i offer any advice
so im thinking i fixed the problems with tvis and shit. I'll be posting tomarow if i did... im waiting for the leasons mafix!
