lesson #1, drop tire pressure for better traction, not too low cause handling sucks at high speeds (not very much in your case) lesson #2, never leave on green, leave on the last yellow lesson #3, in your case launch at 4K+ RPMS. you'll have to play with this but your launch speed will make or brake you. (only for AWDS gents)(you may find that closer to 5K is beter for you) lesson #4, never ever brake, unless you are going to die/wreck if you don't lesson #5, never hold the normal brake on the line. line up, get your target rpm, slowly release the clutch until it nearly grabs, hold the ebrake up with your thumb holding the button down. lesson #6, in AWD burnouts are a waste of time, go around the water box lesson #7, always shift so you never leave TVIS and don't rev past your cam limits (stock is 6200-6400 rpms) start with that and let me know how you do. guessing i should do a write up huh?
awsome mafix, i'll remember that for sure. Thx mafix, i'll be going back to the track either this weekend or next. I'll HOPEFULLY have a video of my runs. Do a write up, seriously
wowzers i didnt hear what you said when i asked you what you ran b/c you muffled under your breath... hmmm after you get your engine back in and car running good we'll have to go to the track... im hoping to get into the high 13s but realistically im not sure... b/c i have seen other people times and they have only made it in the high 13s with slightly more mods than i have... oh well we'll see, hopefully the ct27 will get me there...
