182 - yes - not worth the money or effort 202 - no - You got to mill 4mm from the caliper mounts or swap the hubs http://st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=6934&p=98359#p98359
Yeah - don't forget to change the ball joint too imo the 202 brakes are equal to ST165, try to swap the m/cyl as well. I've used all 3 and the 202 is the easiest/cheapest to get pads etc
yea, im gonna get the front 165 setup and want to match it with the 202 rears. try to max out my options with oem stuff
202 rears are the same as ST162 202 fronts are cheap/available compared to ST165, performance is the same
oh dang, alright. might as well do that then. thanks stig! i know there was a thread on this, but i figured it was lost with the update.
I've made it easy for you guys - click on my sig and it takes you to my new menu, pick what you want and it goes straight there. In case you get lost - http://st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=6934&p=90170#p90170 :fingersx
AFAIK the ST185 rear brakes are bigger, if you want to improve the rear section (288mm vs 269mm disc diameter).
Where are you getting pads for the 202 brakes, I'm not able to locate anything other plain old street pads! I've found lots of performance/race pads for the 182/185 systems, let me know what you find and if it's availible in the US. racerb :driving
yea, sure thing! but this is for a future reference.... :roll im not gonna get it anytime soon though. but they should have them. a lot of people still drive the 6th gens though. so they should carry them everywhere
That's not a problem, you only have to swap disc and caliper I believe. Or do you have drums in the rear?
