    lol thanks guys.
haha I'll keep that in mind if I don't decide to do everything myself. :p

Nice! I've thought of getting those before, but they don't have much lip, and are only 6.5 inches wide. Still aiming for that hellaflush look. :naughty

If some of you guys were wondering, I decided to go 16's instead of 15's because I decided that I'd be too low on 15's. That, and I got my meshies for super cheap. :cool

Yep. Got all 4 centercaps. Was thinking of swapping the BMW logo with a Toyota logo or that Celica Dragon logo, but I'm not sure if I like the look with the centercaps on.

    Mileage before mechanic:

Mileage after mechanic (let's subtract 200 miles for him towing it to his house, and me driving it back home):

Decided to take my car out for a spin today, and found this... -_- :aargh
    [IMG]

(For those of you that don't get it, I don't smoke, and absolutely despise the scent of cigarettes since it messes with my allergies.)

    *Sigh*

Anyways, I've decided that I'll paint my wheels gold and polish the lip. Will probably start on that sometime next week after I wash my car and get my lip back on.

Also, I've decided to call my car "Myth".
The only people that have seen my car in person have been relatives, friends who don't know about cars, neighbors, and 5 non-neighbor car enthusiasts. Most people in the car club at my school have never seen my car in person before, and one of them likes to say that my car is a myth, and doesn't actually exist since I always talk about it, but never bring it or have any updates for it. (until now) lol

:eek5 Wow that mechanic really messed things up. I'd be super pissed and probably wouldn't know what to do with myself.

personally, even though i do smoke in my car, i do not use the ashtrays for anything other than coins or spare screws. i always flick my cigarettes out the window. and i dont want anyone using my front ashtray for cigarettes, because its got that velvet lining in it for the non smokers tray (the JDM one :p) so if i catch a burn mark and a smoked cigarette in it, id be going back to the mechanic and going off my rocker at him.

O_O DANG!! I just read your story. What a douchebag of a mechanic to run you car almost 2000 miles. If he sues you, he's gonna lose cuz you got tons of evidence. If you ever do another engine swap, make the mechanic come to your place to work on it so you can keep an eye on him. That's what I did when I was swapping in my BEAMS.

BTW nice rims you copped. My suggestion on the color choice black or gold inner section and the the lip polished.

yep... :( What saddens me even more is the fact that I almost bought this car several months ago. (Go a few pages back, and you can see how close I was to buying it). Car was running fine then, and the car didn't seem to get in an accident or anything when I saw it today. It was also the first and only Alltrac I've ever driven.

Kit is damaged... :/ (one side skirt has a chunk missing from it now, and the front bumper is cut) Not sure how to fix it (especially the front bumper since I intend to put the '162 lip on and am not sure if not having that center part missing would affect the mounting of the lip), but I'll try to pick it up ASAP. (Probably after I get my car smogged.) I did pick up a few minor things from the '165 including the interior side mirror cover thing, the rope in the back that is tied to the privacy hatch cover, and the connector to the windshield water hose thing.

Speaking of smogging, the past few days have been me trying to get my car smogged. :banghead

Failed twice so far. First time was because the timing was way off (27 degrees) and because a certain someone "forgot" to plug in a bunch of the wires and hid the timing connector while reinstalling the motor. :aargh (Damn it, I thought the joyriding abuse was the last of it... :toetap05 ). After $60 to fix the timing and reconnect the wires, the car still failed because it emitted too much NO... :banghead

I'm gonna try to get that repaired tomorrow. Hope my car will pass smog so that I don't have to send it to the junkyard... :sad5

worry about your smog issues first then. good luck! double check your exhaust from the headers down to just before the flexpipe for any tiny holes that might affect your o2 sensors. i just went through mine and found a lot of little holes but they weren't audible.
