    ********Big Red UPDATE********

ok guys, I got the celi back from the paint shop. It looks freakin fresh
and had so many people do double takes on it. It was kinda seeing that. Now
the only thing that I need to do now is the window trim, the new rear spoiler
vinyls and side vinyls that I got from 89celicagt. hopefully I will have the chance
to work on it this week. Tell me what you think guys.

wow love the color, you should also consider painting the black trim around the tail lights black, kinda looks faded.

Looks awesome, & more like a JDM everytime I see it

Nobody noticed the JDM markers yet?

My only "advice" would be to remove the bumper and spray the valance behind it black,
the front spoiler under tray is missing too

Magic! pure sex on a stick, cannot beat a bright rosso red, you must be so pleased.

echo the valance thing, just stops the red showing through the front spolier.

Looks choice dude, you should be real happy with the outcome !!.

lol stig i noticed the jdm markers had to double take at where the location of the car actualy was!

The Twin cam 16 sign looks nice and shiny too

 Thanks for the responses guys glad everyone like it.

Some small but effective changes to the celi.
First put up those vinyl emblems that 89celicagt sold me.
    True JDM

I also followed Stig's advice on the gear oil vs ATF and definately their was a BIG difference while shifting from 1st to 2nd. Much smoother. 2nd gear syncro feels like it is lining up nicely. This is what I used: 75W-90 gear oil.

I also installed some bushing for the crossmember from Two R Us since they were almost gone...no wonder I was getting that weird noise while downshifting. It is kinda dark so you can barely see it.
Also I installed some poly bushings for the sway bars. They needed it. Thanks to Rick from Toyheadauto. Couldn't get any pictures since I was kinda lazy to crawl down there.

I'm now working on the window trim. Gonna paint it flat black. It's all prepped and read to paint. I am also going to replace the clutch line to a Stainless Steel Clutch line from Two R US.

I decided that I will follow Alwayzsidewayz and leave the windshield trim off so no rust will form.

I will post pics once everything is done....I can't wait to get the Whiteline strut bars :)

 Holy hell that paint job looks absolutely amazing and same with the vinyls!!!

How much did those new vinyls cost? When I get my car re-painted I am going to put new vinyls on and I definitely want to put those "2.0 TWIN CAM 16" vinyls on mine; even though mine did not originally come with them. That vinyl looks awesome on a AE86 and looks even better on a ST162.

    Again, YOUR CAR LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

    -Tanner.

p.s That's for the tip for the gear oil Stig/rocket; definitely going to try that in my car. I'm sure the tranny fluid has never been changed. My tranny also shifts horrible from 1st to 2nd so I'm hoping it'll help a bit.
