    So you got yours from the U.S then? is that seriously the price? $2 US so about $3 plus about $30 P+H, let's say $35 all up, is that all you paid?

    haha yer thats why i got mine tinted to hide the p-plate a little

    and jester yer i cant remember exactly but i think all up it was around $50. the light prices are so cheap coz theres millions of those things around let alone the number of dif companies that make them. They make the money in shipping and def get em i love mine hahaha

    nah globes different higher wattage i think the old ones were 55/60's and these are something like 90/100's,
    they were already in the headlight so it was just plug in and go

    mate, havent checked this thread in awhile or even been on the internet lately..but the way your car is shaping up is just amazing. loving every piece of it!
    Keep the updates flowing.


    edit; btw, not sure if your still after one but i currently have a GT4(alltrac) front on my current st162..and thinking about going with a ssv front....comes with sides,un-cracked foggies, grille etc etc but i probably wont be getting the SSV front until i get back from holidays(end of march) so let me know. (its maroon btw :( )

    How the hell did you find some SSV side skirts for $35? How?

    It's not fair, I've been looking for side skirts and rear bar for over a year and haven't come across any, when i finally do you get the rear bar i wanted and then rub these side skirts in my face, Damn you, and on top of that, Jay-dee is offering you his GT4 front bar, Man you get all the luck, the only apology i will accept is that i get to see this thing in person when it's done, It's looking great.

    look jest not to be a prick but........... HAHA.........HA........HA lol look the rear bar was just good timing and as for the skirts i got a tip bout a white 4th gen with a kit at the local wreckers from fyinix on ozcelica. when i got them i said how they had cracks on the underneath and the guy said $50 and i had $35 cash so he said thatl do. It might still be there (they said they were scrapping it soon) but it has the rear bar on it has a fair crack through it though, also has the ssv spoiler but i dont like em. if you wanna check it out there on cantebury rd in kilsyth next to sexyland lol.you could head down this w/e if your keen.
    and i promise i will apologise by meeting up for a cruise, fuck once the things done i wont leave it haha. in close bad luck :p

    Thanks, i appreciate the sympathy, already been up to kilsyth today, was at pick-a-part, wish i'd known about it then, i don't have weekends, i work em, i get thursday and friday off so looks like i miss out again :(

    ahhh thats gay, if you want i can go down and get it for you? it will require a descent repair though, the split is about 4 inches long frocm memoy and up the top where it curves round the tail light panel to the 1/4 so would be a bit of a bitch, but like i said i can grab it for you if you want it

    this came in the mail today, cost me $70 including postage, which i think isnt bad considering its the full kit

    wont install it til after i respray it, that way i can put it in when i put the engine back in :D

    Oooh good a guinea pig, I keep looking at cruise control units when i go to the wreckers but seeing as i haven't all the knowledge on it i never worried about it, but always wanted to do it.
    think you could do a bit of an installation guide?

    small update
    got these in the mail today

    theyve only done about 500K and got them fairly cheap so am quite happy bout that
    also theres a slight chance that i may be getting a gen2 gte in the semi near future FREE as my mate bought a 185 but he wants a gen 3 coz hes trying to build an absolute monster so just waiting on him to save for a front cut hehe.
    plus i wont be allowed to drive it for another 3.5 yrs with a turbo so gives me plenty of time to build a good engine

    today i chicked it my new gear knob and shift boot. I cut the shifter down and welded it back up today at work i took 7-8cm out of it as i was quite concerned bout taking to much out and it shifting like a bitch. The knobs an ebay thing but i like the simple look of it and the heavy weight feels quite nice through the gears. Also will be fitting my sway bars tomorow :mrgreen:

    yer got em from pinks lol i always seem to get in 1st ay?

    i put them in today and HOLY SHIT BATMAN, the difference is AWESOME. even with the crappy rooted suspension thats still in there they made such a good improvement ive been trying to find any roundabout or shickain i can lol.

    Looks like its progressing nicely :) PM me if you ever need the wiring diagrams for the cruise control. BTW did you get the cruise control ecu + speedo sender that screws inline to the speedo cable? Just checking cause its not pictured.
