Found these fiberglass fenders and hoods on-line, wish I could get them here in the US, oh well I'll just have to find someone local to make them for me later.......http://www.gt4-racing.eu/index.php/toyota-celica-st162 racerb :eng101
you can but it cost....if you look on the fenders there is an option for usa shipping at 320 euros, which is alot for shipping. but yes you can. just an fyi
Would be cheaper to just have them made here, might check with some of our local boat builders just to get a idea of price. Having fiberglass fenders and hood would save an awful lot of weight on my racecar build...... racerb
uhm...those panels aren't really heavy ?? Maybe the hood, but the side panels weigh nothing. Especially if you have rusted ones (i used to have them on my old st165 lol)
I'm thinking the ability to have flared fenders and integrated corner lights (no real lights needed) plus ease of repair after crash damage, would be nice. Plus I'm pretty sure the hood would be much lighter, and I could eliminate pop up headlights by having a complete one-piece hood, just like the GTO Celica I'm trying to mimic! That said, it would be if I were to have them made for me locally. racerb :eng101
