I only have pics of before we left because i was too busy driving to get any pics while on the road.... it was loads of fun!

Met at nambucca (my home town) then drove to urunga (the base of the mountain) and stopped and got fuel the went on our way up this massive mountain. was a bit of a hill climb really. more like a race to the summit than a cruise!

there were a few really cool cars there! a new member who recently moved to the area came along in his 6th gen celica with a 5sfe turbo (5SFTE? lol), turbo 2jz cressida, non0turbo 2jz supra, RB25det R33 skyline, SR20det pulsar to name a few..... oh and my old faithful 3sge celica 8)

heres the pics i got of the cruise:

man your car club is so much les rice than mine...damn we need a supra and 6g! haha good pics man, looks like you had fun!

  4. The 6th gen is damn good looking. I wonder how those wheels would look on my 5th. I wish the 6th gen GT4 was available here. I'd sell all my possessions to own one.

Thanks Rye lol my car looks heaps jacked up cause i accidentally parked it on a slop lol its heaps lower than that usually!

i went for a drive in that supra and it was pretty quick for a non turbo! i was impressed! and that 6th gen is a 5sfe thats been turbo'd... has a fair amount of torque i think its cause of the 2.2 litre engine? he did all the engine work himself, except for the tuning of the after market computer. it actually looked like a mini version of the supra in the club! just cause of the way the body flows like a supra, and the rear wing.

the club is pretty un-ricey, except for that damn crx and the civic, but they arent too bad :p for honda's lol

i have more pics and a few vids if anyone wants to see them?

good to see you love the celica's "Mrs Rye" :D it looks even nicer in real life! and sounded so damn good with the waste-gate!

well, the clubs just a social street car kinda group. dont even need a good car. just need to be happy and into cars and keen for cruises and meets and bbq's and all that kinda thing!

its really fun tho! we have regular cruises, and theres this really nice mountain drive, smooth roads, about a 40 min climb and 25 min back down.... the clubs getting LOADS of support too from all the local stores like tyre places, petrol stations, car parts stores, etc...

im working on saving towards a vid cam so i can get some footage of the hillclimb's and cruises and maybe even some track work!

so the kit for the 6th gen has all you need to have a basic turbo setup? thats pretty handy! wish our 3sge's had that kinda option!
