myabe....i have an 88 st though. i know for sure the st's didnt get them. on a side note, you might need a new brake master cylinder for the m/t conversion because of the extra line that goes out to the clutch master cylinder
The magical Celicalitus ritual. I still need to go visit a junkyard sometime... Never been to one before... :byodood
Yeah, Kev you've come a long way in a short time. Surprised you didn't put on the rest of the kit. I'd be tempted to buy it from you. Auto - Manual Gearbox swap - http://st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=6934&p=90167#p90167 The FE axles are fine if you don't abuse them or put more than 200hp thru them. (Ask Mafix - maybe not!) I like the way they come apart, parts are easy to find etc wheras the GE axles are unique to GE's and V6's. S54 - Same can't be said for fitting one to a GE motor :aargh You need to swap the crank/flywheel as well or find a GTE flywheel and a GE/GTE hybrid clutch/pressure plate. You were lucky the FE was compatible - got a pic of the new flywheel? If you check the engine bay section you will see that many base models did not have strut braces fitted. Weren't you going to the Navy or somethin?
want the rest of the kit? i cant find the rear bumper though. i think someone tossed it while i was at school. yea, it happens. :sad5 i guess i lucked out with the transmission then. i found out that it was the s54 when the seals gave way. but i dont have a picture of the flywheel though. i remember taking one of it, just cant find it. and i was headed to the navy, but opted out because im almost done with school. if i do go then i'll be going in as an officer instead of a recruit
as promised! A CARLOS inspired pose cheers to ya dude :cheers ended the day with a drink and we cant forget the most important one....TOYODA
