I got rid of the front factory crash bar & never bought the appropriate one for the rear. I'm going to build a simpler crash bar that the bumper cover bolts directly too, using those 1/4 turns. I'll be able to take off the bumper faster. The radiator/ intercooler will get more air. The crash bar will be stronger.
I'm looking to convert my car to 4x114.3 I have the front figured out I think. Although looking at the rear I think it'd be easier just to buy the rear hubs from a euro/jdm GT4? I'm not sure which year that was available.
Youd need to look out for AT160's, ST161's with 2SE motors and some early ST162's. Looks like they were all fitted with Corolla brakes so I'm pretty sure Corolla's could be donors too. The one's I've seen all had rear drum brakes and some early 5 lug cars also had rear drums. The WRC brakes/hubs looked like this
I can re-drill the front hubs to 4x114.3 & find the appropriate rotor The rear hub has the ebrake shoe attatched and is splined to accept an axle. Do corrola/camry all trac's have 4 lug. 5x100 wheels are the worst. :aargh
