    Thanks a lot.
    And it is cheap...
But do you really think that it will fit a st162?

stig and i have both fitted them. They fit but you need to cut them down. easy enough to do.

I'm looking to replace all the water hoses below the distributor with silicone ones.
The rad hoses look like they are re-inforced but the smaller silicone hoses aren't

Any ideas? Anyone seen smaller re-enforced hoses or should I just go for braided?

Agreed, pity I haven't seen any of those nice EARL'S end caps/clamps so fraying could be a problem?

I'm thinking of fitting a gen3 head with a gen1 manifold on a GTE block so most of the hoses will be custom

I took some think walled heatshrink and cut about a 1 inch strip and put it at the end. I left about an 1/8 of an inch over the edge to cover the sharp edges and then hose clamped over it. Seemed to work pretty well.

honestly all that braided shit can kiss my ass. i'll never use it again. gates tubing and seamless clamps (fuel injection clamps for nissan) for me. you just need to know what application and size. i had a bunch of that braided steel stuff. still do. free, just pay shipping. garbage i say.
