   i know this post is a little late but there is a very good write up on making a short throw/shift thats you can do yourself at home i did it and works great, just had to cut a bunch of metal out of the shifter ball housing for side to side aswell as put a couple washers to lift the whole unit up the write up is at http://www.celispeed.com/forums/5th-gen ... hort+shift heres mine after http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/ ... ica011.jpg
