Road Racing and rear wheel spacers?

I'm almost done with my E85 GTS Build and purchased Drag 33 17x7 rims with some Ventus V12 EVO tires in 215/45/17 size. I understand I need to put at least 20mm spacers in the rear to clear the new KYB struts, but my question is rear wheel bearing life with the spacer. Anybody out there that road races there Celica have problems with wheel bearings failing quickly while using rear wheel spacers?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I do want to risk the car falling apart during a 20 min lapping session. :(

I ran my Celica GTS for about 3 years on road courses with 10mm rear wheel spacers and had zero issues. I was however running 15x7 wheels with 205/50/15 Kumho V700 tires, so much lighter set up. I just recently replaced the rear bearings without finding any signs of overheating, and these had 160,000 miles on them plus track use. My future plans call for 15x8 NASCAR style wheels with 15-20mm spacers to clear my custom build coil-overs. Check out my build thread in the Motorsports Section of this Forum.....
