reputable engine importers?

is there a list or does anyone have a certain engine importer they had good experience with? im having a hard time finding an engine importer here in washington that doesnt want an arm and a leg for the 3sgte motor

 

yah washington state, where is jk engine importers? everything here in washington state wants 2500+ (at least as ive found)

 

i just talked to jk, they want 1200+tax and they deliver it to me.
any of you actually used them?

 

with the 3sgte as cheap as it is, why do you want a ge?

though how much extra costs are involved in running a turbo? as long as its kept up i dont see that there would be any more costs to running a turbo than a n/a save for a heavy foot.

 

i just called them its engine only and its 1045 for a 1st gen 3sgte

 

well i just ordered my 3sgte 2nd gen from jkimports, 1200+tax to my door thursday

ok, so i told them to bring it down from vancouver on monday(that i wanted it) they said it would be thursday or friday, i called up wed to verify, they said it wont be untill friday,i had an errand to do friday up in redmond you know about half way between my place and everrett. So i asked if anyone was going to be up there in everret, John"the boss" said yes be up there at 10am. so i do my thin in redmond get done at 9.30, call them up Joseph says no one is at the warehouse in everett. I said WTF, he gave me the number ali which is filling in for the normal guy who "works" in everett. I call him up ali is in tacoma with 3 more stops before he makes his way back up to everett until 12.30(3hrs). AGAIN WTF? so i called joseph and said since they told me to be up there at 10am and there would be someone to load it, now i want a discount, joseph agreed and the price was 1100(thats motor/ecu/intercooler/wiring harness 2nd gen) im like for that price i can wait around. so i go do some wrecking yard cruising until 12.15(eat lunch no word from ali yet) call ali up and he says hes exit 157 i-5(just north of seattle) ok so i make my way over to the shop (which is just a storage unit with shelves for the motors) ali finally shows up(ali is cool i got no feelings towards him he was just filling in) we go in, and hes like do you know which one it is? i looked around they had honda/toyota/etc.etc laying all strewn about(not organized at all) i look at every single engine in that place and there was no 3sgte let alone any motor with a turbo or intercooler. ali calls jon, jon says the computer said there was one there(even though when i talked to joseph on monday he said they would have to bring one from b.c) so i said f this im outta here, i found one in auburn(in my home town) for 1350 with ecu/wiring/tranny(may not have intercooler guy couldnt remember off the top of his head). so on my way south i called jon back and said i did not appreciate the way he was doing business and i was very displeased, jon said how about we give you a bigger discount and we will deliver it to you tuesday, i said how much he said 1000+tax, i said that comes with ecu/wiring harnes/turbo/intercooler(everything to make it run) he said um no no intercooler oh wait there is an intercooler but not the right computer, i said NO, i will go with someone more business like.
